Beyblade 30 Day Challenge - Day 16
Question - Favourite attack?
Metal Saga answer: Others can go on about Dragon Emperor Life Destructor and Hades Gate (awesome as it is) and [insert other move here] all they like, but nothing will beat the sheer awesomeness of Black Excalibur for me. The moment when it debuts to show a flying pony that it is dealing with a hero of legend is one of my favourite moments in the Metal Saga and even though it done nada to Kerbecs thanks to Boost Mode, it's still the most epic thing in Metal Masters outright. Oh, and it's purple and black, my two favourite colours (if black even counts as one).
Burst answer: Many choices here, there's Eclipse Pulse, Final Limit Breaker, Triumphant Raid, Royal Eclipse and its successor move Superior Eclipse, World Spin, Orb Swing, Glory Crown and Glory Spear. Probably a couple I'm missing. I almost gave this to Omega Blast purely for Arthur's pre-move lines and my favourite move call gesture in Burst, but I decided that Glory Breaker edged it out, because the pillar of light with the halos surrounding it is pure brilliance along with Regnar doing the move and Rashad's move call gesture. I belong in the darkness, but if anything is going to make me consider switching to the light (other than Galeem), its this. Its to the point where one variant of my main OC (Clarkov Sahaidachny), the MHA variant*, has powers, a suit and a hero name inspired by Glory Regnar (as well as Mizore Shirayuki, Touhou Project, Mathematics & Science). I'm that weird. I have no regrets.
Actually, who would win out of Julian Konzern and Rashad Goodman?
*Alternate: Diamond Dust, Suit: Based on Regnar, Quirk: Snow Sage [light (inherited from mum) & ice (inherited from dad) powers, hands can become ice claws, halos like in the Regnar image above can appear except black, yuki-onna physiology], moves inspired by Glory Regnar's moves/Touhou-style danmaku based on formulae/equations/own custom moves, Weaknesses: Can't handle heat for the life of him, cancelled out by quirks of Tokoyami & Shoto, next to no common sense, et cetera.
