In the Metal Fight Beyblade verse, Rago is capable via Diablo Nemesis of absorbing the power of his opponent and gaining their abilities. He can also gain the abilities and power of everyone that opponent has fought from the beginning to the present.
Despite this, Pluto states that Nemesis has the power of every bey in the world by the time he and Rago do battle with the Legendary Bladers and company. It opens the door to a potential trickle down effect that would go on and on. It makes Rago's main ability one of the most horrifying in any verse.
This got me thinking about another potential trickle down that could be applied to another overpowered deity. This one being of light rather than destruction. Galeem. Due to the incredible amount of crossovers and cameos that can be traced via some path to someone within the Super Smash Bros verse, there's a disturbing amount of verses that are almost certainly reduced to non-existence alongside everyone that ever existed within that verse by the Lord of Light and it's "Everybody Is Dead" attack. That isn't counting restoring the verses back into existence and shuffling them while everyone in them become mindless slaves. Even the verses with stages, Mii outfits and music have potential to be completely screwed. A scenario like this would represent the absolute highest limit of Galeem's power...

Here's a full chart that someone that isn't me made. It includes Warhammer, so the Emperor of Mankind was murdered or possibly deleted from existence. I doubt that would be allowed to stand. Ever.
Gwyn Reynolds is an absurdly intelligent trap of a boy who made himself the unofficial student of Dante Koryu... by stalking him and randomly turning up in the Victories building... after becoming interested in him and his blading when watching Dante and Delta battle Arthur. He is said to be capable of solving any math problem that exists, and up to his time as a blader had never been wrong in any of his calculations or predictions. Gwyn has always willingly holed himself up on his own, doing the same thing over and over. Despite attempts from his mum to get him to find a friend, he could never connect with anyone. His intellectual pursuits were more important. To Gwyn, the world is run on equations and formulae. They are how he judges everything and if something can't be proven by them, then they are doomed to fail. To every problem, there is always a solution.
As time went on, Gwyn was forced to look at his own emotional constitution and evolved in this regard from staunch antagonist and stubborn adversary who just wanted the opposite half to leave immediately to trusted ally near the end.
However, Dante successfully defying Gwyn's predictions started something off. A combination of the hit to his self-pride, an ever growing obsession with Dante, and the disconnect between Gwyn's conscious self and his subconscious self began to slowly drive Gwyn mental. It reached boiling point when he actively tried to reset everything and given the basis of Genesis and the tier Burst is in for a power sense, considering it to mean resetting the universe itself would not be far fetched at all. Beyblade is absurd enough to pull that sort of thing. It didn't help that Gwyn has very low emotional intelligence, and was desperate to find the answer as to why he couldn't get Dante off his mind (and why Dante favoured Delta).
Thankfully, thanks to Genesis and Dante both, Gwyn was able to make a mental recovery and make Dante his friend in a healthy manner all while discovering the meaning behind bonds to put an end to the perpetual squabble inside his heart between the conscious and subconscious. Basically, a loner and a yandere were fighting inside Gwyn's heart and it was slowly destroying him.
Gwyn also happens to be incredibly manipulative and willing to lead many people down a path to certain doom by the use of information. He lead Dante on prior to his obsession forming into a scenario where he could kill Dragon (shattering a bey is basically murder), as Gwyn also became interested in emulating Arthur who had murdered the previous iteration of Dragon with Apocalypse. Then he decided to use Arthur as a puppet for the sole purpose of getting closer to Dante - the only person in the entire world this genius cares about. To hell with (almost) all the rest. Regardless, he's not a bad person in the end, though he can be misinterpreted as one. Despite his name, looks and voice, Gwyn isn't a girl. Maybe he ought to be. There's 'trap' and then there's Gwyn Reynolds.
Who is the best opponent for Gwyn Reynolds (Beyblade Burst)?
Lisa Loud (The Loud House)
Naho Saenoki (Corpse Party)
Promestein (Monster Girl Quest)
Sage Robotnik (Sonic the Hedgehog)
Info-Chan (Yandere Simulator)

This battle can be anything. It doesn't have to be a physical fight, maybe a contest of manipulation involving third parties with the intent of forcing the opponent to submit first.

Rago, known as the Child of the Black Sun and the 10th legendary blader, is regarded as the most powerful blader in the Beyblade verse by most of anyone who isn't a Ryuga fanboy/fangirl, and almost certainly a Brooklyn fanboy/fangirl. I've seen Brooklyn and Rago fans fighting in the comments. This is a series in which power scaling is quite difficult, especially for Burst which if using the same criteria as for Bakuten Shoot or Metal Fight could be anywhere from Wall level to Galaxy level, but can be done. Someone power-scaled and said that the Beyblade Burst verse in particular was Universe level via scaling to Dante and Gwyn, their personal realms/spaces where their Spirit (their bey partner/friend/creation) resides and various moves by the 'master' of their respective beyblades. To put that idea into perspective, it means that if Arthur Peregrine and Origami Tobiichi were to battle, Arthur would curb-stomp Origami into the dirt.
Regardless, there's a reason Rago was chosen by Nemesis itself as the only person worthy of wielding it in battle. It ended up taking the combined power of all the world's bladers, likely over 6,000,000,000 people, to even match Rago and his partner/Spirit/deity Diablo Nemesis. More accurately, since by that point Rago had died and had his spirit absorbed into the God of Destruction, the power of all bladers was up against Nemesis. It's still the same bey though, so whether it was Rago or Nemesis blading with Diablo doesn't really matter. The fact that he didn't even use Armageddon in the final clash with Gingka's Super Cosmic Nova to me suggests that Nemesis wasn't quite at full tilt. No surprise, that deity was rather cocky believing that 'worms' as it called humans could never beat it, even when all together at once.
I have seen claims that Rago has the power of all the world's bladers in his bey, but that isn't the case. Rago himself said that Nemesis has the powers of every blader it has fought and of every blader it's opponents have ever fought as well. But then Pluto blatantly said that it does have exactly that, so perhaps it is a trickle-down effect. (e.g. Power absorption/translation: Rago/Nemesis <- Opponent <- Everyone who Opponent battled <- Every adversary of everyone who battled Opponent <- So on and so forth). To avoid a no-limits fallacy, it is likely needed to apply a simple limit that Nemesis can't gain the powers of someone who is more powerful than it at the time of attempt. It's still one of the most overpowered hax ever.
"When it absorbed your legendary beys, that was not the end. It gained the power of every bey you've ever fought as well, from the first time you battled to the last." - Rago | "Nemesis possesses the power of every bey in the world, you understand? Every bey, and surpasses all in attack, defence and stamina. It is the strongest bey in history." - Pluto
To point out something, there are three Nemesis'. The bey, the god and the star, but they are all one existence too. It seems to be equivalent to the Holy Trinity, with the star Nemesis as the Father, the god Nemesis as the Son and the beyblade Nemesis as the Holy Spirit.
The Black Sun is meant to be the hypothetical star Nemesis. There was a theory in astrophysics that the Sun had a dwarf star twin that would periodically pass by the Oort Cloud or the Kuiper Belt (one of the two) in its incredibly long orbit, and send bodies hurtling into the solar system. The star known as Nemesis was a potential candidate for various mass extinctions that Earth has suffered.
This post is a simple list of a few things that Rago can do. I'd say become more powerful in every category via centrifugal force but to me that's a moot point. Frankly, Beyblade is absurd. It's on the same level as the Touhou Project verse, which is absurd in and of itself. That goes for the Metal Saga, and it may also go for Bakuten Shoot and even Burst. The latter of which would push the boundaries of absurdity.
The Many Things Rago (and Nemesis) Are Capable Of:
Corrupt people to become mind slaves to the will of Nemesis. (Pluto did this to Dynamis via the Black Sun's energy, which Nemesis is basically made of. This one seems to be restricted to whoever has the pendant Dynamis wears, so it's not really effective on anyone else.)
Absorb people and/or their souls into itself.* (Nemesis did this to Hades, then to Rago and Pluto - in Rago's case, Nemesis took on his voice and personality though it briefly used Pluto's voice.)
Cause natural disasters such as severe thunderstorms, wildfires, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, firestorms and volcanic eruptions at unnaturally high levels on a global scale. (Rago did this before Ryuga turned up, and Nemesis did it as a side-effect while battling Gingka.)
Cause global electrical black-outs. (Rago did this as a side-effect before Ryuga arrived to challenge him to battle.)
Correctly foresee future events.* (Nemesis predicted its own revival thousands of years before it happened.)
Absorb a person's power and gain their abilities, plus gain the abilities of everyone said person has ever fought with. (Nemesis absorbed power from various sources over thousands of years in preparation for its revival, and when it absorbs the powers of its opponent, it also gains the abilities of everyone that opponent has ever battled.)
Summon the Black Sun from its 26,000,000 year orbit cycle to the Earth. (Nemesis did this shortly after breaking out of Zeus' Barrier.)
Open up gateways to different universes. (Rago seemingly did this against Ryuga.)
Create barriers to protect itself or trap others. (Rago pulled this against the legendary bladers, to prevent them from being able to seal Nemesis.)
Seemingly be made of the universe itself, like some kind of abstract eldritch horror.* (Nemesis is basically a hulking divine mass of fluctuating intergalactic space given shape.)
Destroy spirits and/or souls. (Diablo Nemesis does this to all of the Spirits of the legendary bladers' beys when battling Gingka.)
Replicate the spirits of those whose powers they have taken in. (Rago and Nemesis both do this repeatedly against their opponents, it's their go to battle method.)
Erase all of existence itself on a universal scale at minimum. (Rago stated that once he and Nemesis were done, literally nothing would be left, and that they would create a new existence out of that nothingness, like the birth of a new reality.)
Resurrect itself after being killed. (The Spirit of the bey Diablo Nemesis can return after being destroyed, though a bey usually stops spinning once the Spirit is killed with exceptions, as long as the bey itself can still spin. Basically every bey with a Spirit can do this.)
Be resistant if not immune to power absorption. (Ryuga tried and failed to absorb the power of Diablo Nemesis into L-Drago.)
This isn't even getting into the powers Rago has due to absorbing the abilities of countless people. Basically, just research every single decent blader in the Metal Saga verse and count what they can do. Rago can do all of that too. This includes:
Universe creation [Faust/Damian/Dynamis]
Revealing the past via a separate realm [Dynamis]
Control over gravity [Julian]
Creating an electromagnetic field [Zeo (Byxis)]
Creating auroras [Dynamis]
Opening the gates to Hell [Damian]
Teleporting to different places [Ryuga]
Warping the fabric of reality in a universe** [Kyoya/Damian]
Transporting people between universes [Dynamis]
Creating an empty space of non-existence [Chris]
Astral projection at sizes dwarfing a galaxy [Faust]
Complete control over wind [Kyoya]
Full control over time and space, including creating seemingly hyper-massive black holes within which space-time becomes broken and ceases to exist*** [Faust]
*The asterisk means only Nemesis can do these. Rago can't.
**Kyoya did this when Hades (basically Hell) was turned into the Wild. Damian then reversed it by turning the Wild back into Hades.
***Faust's power is based on the Theory of Relativity, most likely General Relativity but maybe also Special Relativity. It's almost certain that the inside of Tempo's black holes are based on the Singularity, a potentially 0-D point of possibly infinite density where the laws of reality break down. The fact that Pegasus and Striker were still spinning but had stopped in place, and that Gingka and Masamune were frozen solid, alongside the scientific basis of Tempo suggests that time itself doesn't exist inside Tempo's black holes, and space with it. It is just a void of nothingness. Similar to non-existence then, but not quite that. Probably Rago's pipe dream.

This is used in the event of all the peeps having the original beys. Mainly because Hasbro beys are about as appealing as Sage hentai, and also because on Hasbro beys, the hax don't exist.
For some reason, I decided to have a bit of fun and put 24 bladers in a league format to see who came out on top. Because it was for fun, I also put in my main OC to see where they would end up.
Frankly, I don't see why Ultimate Valtryek had to be upgraded. It's not even a proper upgrade. Also, the upgrade looks horrible.
Note: The bey's of Aiger, Alexander, Bel, Dante, Hikaru, Hyuga, Kit and Valt are written as their original versions. The ones used in QuadStrike are the Hasbro versions, because they're the ones who made the season. In reality, ignoring the armour tips, their beys are:
Zeal Achilles Giga Massive-10
Xiphoid Xcalius Xanthus Xtend+-1
Destined Belfyre D-Gear Gyro-2'
Gambit Dragon Karma Zephyr-4'
Komet Helios Fyquor Planet-2
Stellar Hyperion Diagron Guard-7'
Whirl Knight Tapered Jaggy-2
Bolt Spryzen Xanthus Quattro-1
Ultimate Valtryek Over Liner-3
Ultimate Gear is the H-Gear/A-Gear/D-Gear/VS-Gear with Belfyre.
*Some moves are added personally by me based on previous moves each blader had (except for OC, all of those are my ideas). Does not include tag moves as they are irrelevant. Some additional moves for Shu are named after Astral Spryzen as naming them after Burst Spryzen doesn't sound right at all.
I have a series going on called 'MetalBurst Project'. Title inspired by 'MFBProject', 'BBBProject' and 'Touhou Project'. It's basically my desire for what the ultimate expression of the series would be. There are 6 seasons, going from Origin -> Evolution -> Turbo -> Rise -> Surge -> Ultimate.
Beyblade Burst has multiple systems from the original single layer system all the way up to the Dynamite Battle/Burst Ultimate system. This short post will dictate the bladers who created each system, and which bey they made, in my alternate universe series. OCs are included.
The idea of Pandemonium and Pandora being the first ever beys in this series is based on the concept of pandemonium being another word for Chaos, the beginning primordial void within Greek mythology, and Pandora being the first human woman/girl in the same mythology.
Single Layer System: Jinbei Kuroda (Pandora Force Unite + Pandemonium Nine Fusion)
Dual Layer System: Lui Shirosagi (Lost Lúinor Nine Spiral)
God Layer System: Raul Comas (Genesis Valtryek Infinity)
Chouzetsu System: Taiga Akabane (Wonder Valtryek 12 Volcanic, created for Valt Aoi)
Gatinko Layer System: Valt Aoi (Sword Valtryek Blitz Power Retsu)
Burst Prevention System: Arthur Peregrine (Prime Apocalypse 0Dagger Ultimate Reboot', evolved from the single layer system bey Apocalypse Magnum Assault)
Superking System: Dante Koryu + Gwyn Reynolds (Brave Valtryek Evolution' 2A, created for Valt Aoi)
Incorrect Dialogue: Top Gear AI -> Beyblade Burst - 2
More Top Gear AI dialogue turned into random blader scenarios. As if the first one wasn't enough. Obvious dialogue alterations to further fit the bladers and for humour.
Phi: This is the all new Vauxhall Corsa. It starts at 18 billion Zimbabwean Dollars, it has 7 horsepower and comes with all sorts of new gadgets.
*Phi gets into the car.*
Phi: Look at this! It already comes pre-installed with a Halfords racing spoiler for extra downforce in the Akabane farm.
*Phi drifts the car in front of Taiga Akabane and Kana Akabane.*
Phi: But here is the feature I think Corsa buyers will enjoy the most. If I push this button on the dashboard, a magnet activates and it starts to pull Aiger Akabane into the passenger seat.
*Aiger escapes the magnet and books it.*
Phi: I think Evel needs to work on this feature.
*Phi drives past a crashed car.*
Phi: I bet a tenner that's Hyde. Back to the Tower.
I saw an AI generated parody of Top Gear recently and had the galaxy-brain idea to convert the dialogue of Clarkson, Hammond and May in that to a weird discussion between Beyblade Burst. Slight dialogue changes to fit the switch in cast. Fictional site made up based on a real one just for this.
Lain: I've got some sad news. Arthur microwaved my pet hedgehog and let's just say, it's very dead.
Gwyn: I'm so sorry Lain. When is your brother's funeral?
Lain: Gwyn, you weapons-grade yandere, this isn't a laughing matter. Harry was my best friend, he was always there for me, and now he is an exploded pile of guts all over the kitchen worktop.
Rashad: Have you heard about the website where you can pay respects to your lost hedgehog?
Lain: No. What's the site called? I'll get it up on my laptop.
Phi: I think it's XHedgehog.com.
Lain: *Screaming.*
Lui: Fucking got him, Phi.
Pax: Wait... is that my sister?
*Pax's phone ringing as he calls Pri.*
Pax: Why is R34 of you on the internet?!
R.I.P. Harry.
Also, an extra bit about the prototype of the Beyblade-based art I'm currently doing. Try and guess which bladers are going where.
Each season, the ranking of best to worst blader seen shifts as the standards increase with time and new bladers join. This is my opinion on the ranking of the top 10 bladers for each season.
This is on overall, and not just raw power. If it were just power, Kurt would likely be in first or second for Evolution, as Raul stated that there was no bey in the world at that point that could beat Khalzar in raw strength. These lists can include the same blader with different beys. Master Dragon isn't counted as it is the combination of two separate beys.
Hyde was better than Phi, but due to Phoenix absorbing Hades' power, Hyde lost. Phi then became better by fusing Revive Phoenix and Dread Hades into one bey.
As for Rise, Dante's first win against Arthur was by sheer luck, but then Dragon fully awakened and I'd say Dante/Dragon surpassed Arthur/Apocalypse then. Arman's win was awesome but it was little more than a fluke to me. It's the same situation as with Kurt, Arthur has more raw power than Dante or Delta, but raw power alone doesn't mean one is overall better. Interestingly Arthur was never beaten properly in a one on one with the Eclipse Armour by Delta. Delta got the upper hand once but each time Arthur lost was either to Dante or to a Dante/Delta tag-team.
Also, Hikaru and Hyuga are better solo than they get credit for. Oh, and Valt somehow easily breaking Lain's barrier was an ass pull with both Valt and Lain pulling out major plot armour. The Valt/Shu battle was a load of balls too. How Valt managed to beat the one guy who handed Vex Lucius's back end to it I'll never know. Aiger, the world champion and therefore better at the time, had to work much harder to beat Lain, and he wasn't even at his best due to Achilles' different modes. Weirdly, Dragon overpowered Achilles in one battle but the strain was too much and it ended up causing itself to burst, that's why my Surge list has Dante above Aiger and Aiger above Valt.)
QuadDrive is difficult because Rashad is never really seen battling with Regnar at full tilt due to bonding/resonance as it was damaged in a battle with Belfyre. That's why Ultimate Valtryek won so well against Regnar, because it was damaged. A full circle thing from when Salvage Valtryek broke because it was damaged. So Rashad/Regnar at their best without any damage to Regnar is what is used for the appropriate list.
If you ask me, it goes like this: Dragon (Awakened) > Apocalypse (Eclipse Armour) > Apocalypse >= Dragon (Partially Awakened) > Dragon.
I should point out that Destined Belfyre is basically just the Ultimate Gear version of Divine Belfyre. All lists can contain bladers from a previous season.
Zachary (Zac) Kaneguro, Akira Yamatoga, Quon Limon, Gabe Brunai, Alexander (Xander) Shakadera, Ken Midori, Hoji Konda, Ryota Kurogami and Daigo Kurogami.
Lain Valhalla.
Hyde and Phi.
Arthur Peregrine.
Joe Lazure, Ben Azuki, Blindt DeVoy, Naoki Minamo, Jin Aizawa, Lodin Haijima, Xavier Bogard, Ren Wu Sun, Orochi Ginba, Joshua Burns, Yugo Nansui, Ukio Kibuki, Hae-Jin Oh, Pheng Hope, Ghasem Madal, Phelix Payne, Boa Alcazaba, Clio Delon, Cuza Ackermann, Laban Vanot, Kyle Hakim and Kurt Baratier.
The results changed hands a few times. Gwyn took an early lead for his growing subconscious friend-based obsession with Dante and his descent into full mental breakdown, but then Pax with his arm injury and the mental trauma of having to give up everything that he held onto for years held command for the majority of the poll time. In the last hour, Shu it seems edged the most recent of antagonists out. No wonder. The guy even got possessed by his own bey and put through unethical mad science. Lain and his Flare-fuelled identity crisis also got a vote in. As usual, my vote doesn't matter. I went for Pax.
Beyblade Burst has a lot of main antagonists, and some of them have been through some serious things. From subconscious obsessions to getting possessed, from mental anguish to identity crises and traumatizing arm injuries too, I wanted to see who has had it the worst. That's all I can say. All antagonists listed as a rule of thumb, even if they aren't tragic.
Note: Votes by me do not count and are merely to observe the results.
Two polls, as the title suggests, were done for the sake of fun. First revolved around adults and what they would do with a child alongside the idea of Satou having to fight Bondrewd/Bruno/Aiger to try and prevent either one of them from taking Shio away, while the second was a verse poll between the murder hole and the murder book-safe.
Frankly, I thought Bucciarati was at a major disadvantage against Bondrewd and Aiger - the former for effectively being immortal via those other bodies of his and the latter because he can simply make Achilles spin again if it is made to stop. The only way to defeat Aiger for good here would be to somehow shatter Achilles.
Satou is a human, and had no chance at all. Sparagmos will put her six feet under and then some, if the occasional "ARIARIARIARIARI" doesn't get her first. It was actually quite close between the other 3, with Aiger putting up a better fight than expected but he eventually got caught in an inexplicable zipper on the floor and Achilles could hold on no longer. Then somehow Bucciarati's strategy found a way past Bondrewd and won the day. Classic J.J.B.A. peeps, winning fights through smarts.
As for the second poll, nothing to say except mild surprise at the forces of Roland, Angela, the Patron Librarians and their subordinates narrowly defeating the combined might of Riko, Reg, Ozen, Bondrewd, the other White Whistles and the denizens of the Abyss. None of them got booked, that phase is over, now The Head need to watch their backs. The seventh layer still awaits though. Yay, more suffering.
On that note, I wonder how Ozen in particular would do against Angela, both on their own. An unstoppable force meets an immovable object, and this time the unstoppable force is also an immovable object (read: Ozen the Immovable).
Poll 1:
Bruno Bucciarati -> 5 votes
Bondrewd -> 3 votes
Aiger Akabane -> 3 votes
Satou Matsuzaka -> 0 votes
Poll 2:
Library of Ruina -> 5 votes
Made In Abyss -> 3 votes
The winners respectively are Bruno Bucciarati and the verse known as Library of Ruina.
Researched Library of Ruina recently and after realizing a rare case of absolutely loathing (later merely disliking) a tragic villain, in this case the villain protagonist whose story is followed from Roland's point of view, my mind somehow managed to connect the Library (where the defeated get turned into books) made out of Angela's E.G.O. to the Abyss that Bondrewd performs his multitude of morally dubious actions involving cartridges.
Both are seemingly infinitely large spaces on the inside too that are filled with suffering and death perpetuated by blatantly evil people who believe that it all justifies an end goal (an A.I. becoming human and destroying their creator's ultimate dream out of spite/vengeance for a million years of suffering on one hand, and ever growing knowledge/preventing the presumably apocalyptic outcome of an approaching 2000 year cycle of a hellhole where fates worse than death can be the norm on the other hand.) Mind you, near the end one of them is finally made to realize (through battle and a reason-you-suck-speech from the other villain protagonist) how far they've fallen and end up sacrificing their newfound humanity to restore all the people they had murdered and turned into books (they tried sacrificing themselves entirely to the Light - including a confrontation with Carmen and a very timely "I'm sorry... and good job" from Ayin of all people - before Roland basically dragged them back out). The other really hasn't at all. One word: Mitty.
Using all powers and all people from the respective series, which verse would walk out the winner?
Which verse would win?
Library of Ruina
