A question: do Masters/Servants know (or at least have a general idea of) who their counterpart is? Or were only the VERY basics imparted to them when they arrived?
this was asked before so i'll simply copy and paste what the lovely mod one has typed out for it!
The Master and Servant will automatically have the thought resonate that the face of the person they are looking at is the one they have been linked to and their partnership in the Holy Grail War. They will automatically know the basics upon meeting, but not each other’s names and personalities.

There seems to be a misunderstanding. My secondary KV character, Nike from Air Gear (jade-king-nike), was already assigned as Motonari's master, although the list hadn't been updated to reflect that (it's a side blog from this one, so I can't send an ask directly from there).
