It’s grating on Lorian’s nerves to consider the feather trail Lothric’s teleportation miracle left on their way to their room. Their roommates are going to find that and think neither of them clean up their shit.
But he can’t think of a dignified way to leave his room without crawling around on the floor, and that’s not at all how he’d like to meet new people he’s going to have to see a lot. Not when he can’t communicate verbally and doesn’t have anything to write with at the moment. Ordinarily, Lothric would jump at the chance to offer his miracle to help Lorian move or to help navigate a conversation. But right now, it would be cruel to disturb him. He’s had a horrible scare just coming here. A lot of the coherent thoughts Lorian can pick up across their soul connection involve fear or certainty of death.
Lorian tiredly walks himself through some consequences of doing nothing - roommate finds feathers, roommate follows feathers to their door, roommate knocks on the door, Lorian can’t answer, roommate doesn’t understand, roommate gets worried about strange people in their house, everything gets off to a bad start. Lorian sighs, gets off the bed, and (rather against Lothric’s wishes) goes over to open the door by a generous few inches. When someone knocks, he can knock on the wall, and it won’t feel so much like an intrusion for them to push the door the rest of the way open.
He picks up the cell phone (what in the world is it?) and sits on the bed and investigates it, for something to do. He could use a distraction. It’s been a long day.
( @grayvekeep @ouraniai hi you guys got some new roommates )
