Yuan doesn’t like to admit it, but he can’t drive.
He can’t be blamed for it, given Aselia’s differing technology, but he really should have learned by now. Rider has agreed to teach him, though he’s not confident enough in his skills to drive anywhere on his own without endangering innocents.
So he has to fly to the pit, pushing the limits of his strength to get there in time. The little bag of fudge pieces he carries is another concerning factor -- what if it melts before he gets there?
Thankfully, he spots her not far from the pit. Was she going to walk home, or did she have another destination in mind? He lands several feet away after calling out to get her attention, shaking his wind-blown hair out of his eyes and rubbing the soreness in his shoulders as his wings dissipate. It’s always a pain pushing his powers like that...
“Welcome back. I brought you some...”
Ah, it’s partially melted. He sighs.
“... Well, it’s the fudge you said you liked. You may want to wait for it to get firm again.”
