Mainly most, if not all, the KND kids- since they're more of the focus, as opposed to the villains. They tend to have some sort of tie-in somewhere- like they have the same birthday as someone famous or you could readily associate with an aspect of their character.
For example, with this group: in Kitty's case, she shares a birthday with Steve Irwin (sooo in this case, animals and her love for them). In Buzz's, his is the same as Sonic the Hedgehog (in this case, the whole "gotta go fast!!" attitude).
*In terms of year, as I don't have an exact timeline for them (other than, I suppose, that this sector is around about 5 years after Sector V? Kitty is the cousin of one of pinkandorangesunset's OCs, Numbuh 47; and if I remember right, their timeline is 5 years after Sector V. Don't quote me on that, though.), I have their birth year as "20XX"*
Calendar order for Sector ANTAG birthdays goes as follows:
Kitty/Numbuh M-30-W: Feburary 22nd
Beckham/Numbuh 90 Minutes: May 2nd
Buzz/Numbuh Z-00-M: June 23rd
Finn/Numbuh 922-05: August 16th
Candy/Numbuh SW-33-T: September 13th
Minerva/Numbuh 75001: October 27th
Ramsay/Numbuh 350F: November 8th
Val/Numbuh 6-5000: November 14th
Definitely playing around with a few for some of the villain characters, but nothing official on that end yet. When they do become "official", I'll add an addendum.
For Kitty, are you related to the Crazy Old Cat Lady?
@grayguardianlw
Kitty/Numbuh M-30-W: "Yup! She's actually my great-aunt, if you can believe that. I got a couple of my little quirks from her; like my little cat nose! Oo! And my claws, too! Genetics are weird"
"You're probably thinkin', 'Oh, but where's your mom and dad??' Soooo, Auntie tells me that they were really young when they had me- like....older teenagers?"
"She doesn't really say a lot after that, only that one day I just kinda ended up on her doorstep like you see in those old cartoons, aaaaaaand here I am!"
"I mean, her place does kinda smell like catbox sometimes, but Auntie takes care of all the kitties an' does love 'em...and me! In fact, the kitties are the ones that kinda taught me all about spyin' an' stuff! How to be all sneaky! But don't tell them it's for KND purposes..."
(Reposting; noticed a typo in one of the panels. Fixed now)
An attempt was made at a pun with the title. If you get it, congrats, you either paid attention in your history/US government/poli-sci class(es), or you were around for what it's play on-words of. I myself wasn't even a twinkle in my parents' eye at that point...hell, they hasn't even met yet- that's 23 years later!
Comic commission for @grayguardianlw, who wanted something with his version of Prom Queen and my teen villain, Rumor Millie. Tossed around a few ideas, came up with Millie being "recruited" as the sort of "social media manager" for Prom Queen and her Homecoming Court.
...At least, that what she is on paper. In reality, she's there to get info on those running against them in the upcoming elections for prom. Kiiiind of a good thing she's on their side, given a lot of the dirt she's dug up on who she's working under.

For Numbuh 6-5000's what horror movies or movies in general do your parents allow you to watch? Can you get away with watching R rated horror films?
@grayguardianlw
Val/6-5000: "See, you'd think with me being a dhampir, there'd be a little more freedom in the horror movie department, given...y'know. "Already part monster" and all. But Dad still instinctively covers my eyes during the short bits in Hotel Transylvania where Drac does his scary face when he's all mad. I'm ten, not three!"
"But to answer your question...it's a little complicated, cuz like...I'm not allowed to watch the Austin Powers movies (yet), but at the same time, some stuff that's rated PG-13 or R from the 80s or 90s, I can watch with Mami; genre-dependent of course. I'm allowed to watch Ferris Bueller's Day Off, but not A Nightmare on Elm Street. Somethin' about bein' 'too scary' and 'too bloody'. ...Which I can kinda understand cuz I'm not a fan of blood, but at the same time, she'll let me watch like...medical dramas with her. Adults are so confusing."
"Horror movies, specifically? Dad's a proponent of the classics. And I mean, classics. Those black and white ones from way, way, way back then. He's all like 'Valentina, bebeluș, are you frightened at all?' when we're watching The Wolf Man. I'm honestly starting to drift off to sleep from the atmospheric-ness of it. I honestly think he gets more spooked than I do."
"Right now, the 'scary movie' threshold/allowance at home is kinda low...Mami and Dad are still leaning into the more 'safe' ones."
Min/Numbuh 75001: "At the treehouse, though? Totally different story. Fright Night, Bram Stoker's Dracula, [REC], The Ring, The Thing, that new-ish Nosferatu movie, you name it. Heck, I've even asked Numbuh 113.28 from the KND Mega Media Miscellania to recommend a few of those...what're they called? Animes?...those. The spookier ones. Should we be watching them at our ages? Probably not. Do I care? Nah. It's not like any of us are staying up all night after watching something that may be 'a bit too much for our sensitivities'. ...Except for maybe when we had that movie night with The Exorcist.
...Or Poltergeist...
...Then there's The Brave Little Toaster, but that was mainly Kitty and Finn's issue- something about talking appliances and 'existential crises'
Do any of your KND OCs have any fun Christmas/Holiday traditions?
@grayguardianlw
@mythosmaiden
General OC Q+A
Hm, good question! I like to think that all of them partake in the "standard" ones (i.e., leaving out cookies for Santa, seeing Santa at the mall, opening one gift on Christmas Eve, having at least one Christmas movie that they'll watch every year, being read "The Night Before Christmas" before bed, etc.) but if we want to talk specifics...
[This got loooong, hence the read-more]
I can definitley say that out of the 8 members of ANTAG, 3 of their families participate in the whole "Krampus" thing: Ramsay (his grandmother being from the region where it originated/is popular), Val (the joke is that her dad and Krampus went to college together; she doesn't want to find out if that's true, honestly), and technically Minerva (sooo France-since that's where her Mom's from- has a similar concept of the whole "good cop/bad cop Santa" thing, except his name is "Père Fouettard"). Downside? Scary Christmas dude threatening to hit you with sticks or kidnap you if you've been naughty. Upside? Two days of gifts! Smaller treats on St. Nicholas Day (Dec. 6) and the bigger stuff on Christmas.
Beckham thankfully gets a break from his mother around this time, similar to what he does with summertime, and is often overseas with his dad. Dad being in England, he gets to partake in some of the more standard "English" ones: Christmas crackers, Christmas specials on TV, going to midnight mass (Beckham considers himself a non-practicing Catholic, but the atmosphere and experience, he finds, is beautiful. Never can make it through the full service, though). His favorite? Pantos/Pantomimes. Maybe one of the few times he's genuinely relaxed and actually giggling like the 9 year old he is.
Finn, for the longest time, didn't really have any specific ones outside of the "standards". By sheer "luck", especially after his meningitis bout, he was often in bed with a cold on or around Christmas, or aching from the cold weather. Kinda sucky, but hey; he'd get to spend time with his mom, curled up on the couch and eating soup while watching Christmas movies (Guess that could count as one, now that I think about it...). Now, though, it seems that the new tradition is spending time where his stepdad is from: Australia! ...Yeah, okay, the flight to and from is brutal (hence why they tend to leave at the beginning of December and aren't back til January), but he can at least say he's spending Christmas on the beach, soaking up some sun.
Ramsay's is very much food-centered- unsurprisngly...but surprisingly, his grandmother isn't trying to make some FrankenFood creations: she actually leans more towards """normal""" foods you expect around the holidays: cookies, turkey, ham...there was an attempt at a TurDucKen one year, haha. BUT! Outside of food, one thing him and his grandmother do is go to Christmas carnivals! He loves the rides, the games...sometimes there's a petting zoo, and he gets to feed a reindeer, which he thinks is kickass. His grandma tends to dress up as a sort of "Mrs. Claus" figure when they go (or hell, around Christmas to begin with), and he thinks it's sweet.
Compared to the others (with the exception of Ramsay, Val, and Minerva, which have Krampusnacht/St Nicholas Day on the 5th and 6th of December), Buzz gets his celebrating in a bit early, participating in Las Posadas (Dec. 16th-24th)..but he has a lot of fun doing so. Sitting through Midnight Mass is a bit difficult for him, given his high energy, but- like Beckham- he does find it beautiful.
Christmas is the time when Candy's dad docks on shore, so him and her mother are physically together, and she can be with both of them. There really isn't anything specific for Christmas other than a big feast. New Year's though? Hoooooly hell, Hogmanay goes hard.
At some point during the season, either before everyone goes their "seperate" ways OR right after they all come back, they have a little "Friendsgiving" (or whatever the Christmas equivalant is) celebration together; sharing treats, giving gifts, venting about any family stress or BS they may have encoutered.
...I do also like to think that, at least for one to two days (Christmas Eve and Day), the KND and at least the adult villains have an unspoken Christmas truce; no one actively fights, except for the occasional, good-natured snowball fight.
Come Boxing Day (Dec. 26th), though, all bets are off, lol.
For Rumor Millie, what's your favorite social media platform to sabotage people you dislike on? And what's your favorite platform to just chill and have fun?
@grayguardianlw
Rumor Millie: Like...what platform DON'T I like? If I can make an account or, like...circumvent a ban somehow, I'm all over it."
"Chilling out and having fun? Hm...that's a pretty good question. I tend to spend a lot of my time on, like,TikTok and places like that? Scrolling through, watching little make-up tutorials, things like that. Gotta stay up to date, y'know?"
For each member of Sector Antag, who is your arch nemesis or the villain you have the most connection or beef with?
(I mean, if we're talking "most connection", that's technically the "villain parent/guardian" set, haha. Father and the DCFDTL, as well as Nanny Wickersham and Mr. Hoover, are an across-the-board thing (varying levels on the latter two), buuuuut:)
Ramsay: "I'd argue Father and those Delightful Dorks the most...if they're not my arch-enemies, they're very close to being runner-ups. The Delightfuls, because they don't share their cake. Father's...well, Father. I use fire too, if ya wanna be technical, but I use it for good; Cooking things. warming things up. I use it to create. He uses it to destroy. I use it for joy. He uses it for fear. Candy says that fire is like the sea- it's a cruel mistress and you have to play nice, lest it hurt you. I hope he burns himself one day. >:("
Finn: "I have a loathing hatred for that piece of human waste that is my 'birth father'...he's the reason I'm the way I am. But if we're going the non-existental route...I would argue Nanny Wickersham. Not an arch-enemy, per se, but I detest how she babies me. Things may be a bit more difficult for me, but I can still do them. That's what my assistive devices and my tenacity are for. She dismisses it as me 'being in the 'Me do it!' phase'. That's what my little sister is in currently. She's 2. Nanny calls it 'helping', I call it 'infantilization' and abelist. ...And if we're going even less existential, The Common Cold. Not hard to see why."
Beckham: "Top 3? Number 1 is The Common Cold. When I was little, his snotty butt landed me in the hospital, cuz I was really sick. Now If I get sick, that means being away from my leader duties and being dragged wherever my mother's soccer games take her. Yeah, okay, she does bundle me up and have soup in a thermos, but I'm otherwise rendered useless. Number 2 is P.T.Ava, on the account that she's friends with my mother. She's too close for comfort in terms of locus of control. Tiger Dad's my number 3. His bar for academic success is impossible to reach and he's a jerk about it."
Minerva: "Gotta agree with Becks; P.T.Ava is a bi[REDACTED]. I hate her. 'Course, I've also promised Finn that if I see his birth dad, I'm shoving every bit of his pseudosciene bullspit up his [REDACTED]. Other than them? Stage Parent's a real creep."
Buzz: "Ay, Senator Safely is a major buzzkill. Other than him? Probably Chester (cuz he's a creep), or Tiger Dad- he's scary, and he thinks I'm stupid. I'm not!! My brain just works and does things differently and won't fit into his little boxes of perfection! You ask my teachers, if I have an alternative way of doing an assignment, am allowed breaks and other accomindations, I do really well!"
Kitty: [Entire response has been REDACTED, due to amount of threats and swearing, Short and skinny of it, though: her answer is Mr. Hoover- based mainly on her zuigerphobia and because he's an uppity jerk]
Candy: [looking out into the sea, says something about The Great White Asparagus- wistfully; like a wife waiting for her husband to return from the sea. She may not be all that into the pirate life like her dad, but she's seen that thing destroy ships and the amount of candy lost to it]
Val: "Honestly? As much as he's...well, my dad; he always seems to undo my work- be that with my healing physically with ice packs, or mentally with hugs and reassurance. But if we're talking 'who would I break my mainly pacifist streak' with? Father. Or Mr. Boss. Definitley Finn's birth dad. Give me five minutes in a room with them, and I can show them what else I can do with the things in my medkit. You wanna cause kids pain? I'll show you it. SLOWLY
So the initial plan was having hubby come out (as he's currently on the opposite coast for work TwT) and spend about a week out here for Christmas. However, one of his coworkers is going in for major surgery and is going to be out for about 2 months...
...coworker is the Director of Operations for the Fire Department. Soooo in the meantime (after being voted in), hubby is currently the Interim Director of Operations, aaaand taking said vacation right after being inducted would be a bad look- which, while frustrating, I get. Soooo we've had to push things back a bit...which is fine! Thankfully, we had free cancellation for stuff, so 's all good.
By the time he'll be out (February?), it'll be a bit warmer out here (not that winters get bad out here), and he'll be here for 2 weeks (paid!) as opposed to 1.
In the meantime, it's just me. So Christmas itself? Nothing special. Call my mom, talk with her for a bit (as she's also on the opposite coast), maybe make some cookies...and if the weather holds up? Maybe I'll take a dip in the complex's hot tub, who knows.
and probably hyping myself up for classes starting in mid-January, haha
