the problem with it is the risk is fairly minimal. bullets bounce off apollo and midnighter heals crazy fast. bullets that his body heals around could definitely be erotisized but i feel much of the sexual appeal of the gun would be lost

lets start easy with some basic impact play

i feel that their line between smacking and groping is not a wide one. how often apollo would necessarily bring the instruments out is probably not very, partly because midnighter heals in 5 minutes max and partly because the absolute pain threshold is something to be avoided if possible. there's also a question of how much effort apollo would necessarily be willing put into causing lasting pain or damage. if we take human on the inside as canon with no asterisk, i think it's something they used to do but don't any longer
