How would’ve Alec felt if he found out Laurent was still alive? Idk if she is but i remember something like Bertrand saying she died.

Alec does canonically learn that Laurent is still alive! Decades after their separation he and Laurent d'Ardenne, now Grayson Winters, reunite after Grayson returns to England. However, if Alec had learned before then, he would've been angry with Bertrand but overwhelmingly relieved and would have reached out to make contact.

So Sinsverse and the Menagerie are two different timelines featuring some character overlap, both set in Chicago. Sinsverse also features an AU of Alec as the storyline follows Ridley Wolfe, a boy suffering from schizoaffective disorder and an abusive family life, as he passes from that life to a deeply imbalanced relationship with Alec to a period as a sex slave under a man named Grayson, on to his more hopeful adulthood. Ridley is one of my favorite characters in anything ever and is very dear to my heart, especially as someone dealing with psychosis. I couldn't recommend it enough! 

Speaking of things I love to recommend, the Menagerie is an alternate universe that is more centered on the life of Grayson, the man who in Sinsverse enslaves teenage Ridley. In this universe he's instead surrounded by a group of female submissives, the titular Menagerie, who he's collected as he goes through life as a successful and wildly troubled psychiatrist. The Menagerie includes Alice, his wife and devoted right hand; Elsie, a patient of his since 16; Dove, the one who challenges him; Juliette, who he once saved from a suicide attempt; and Mia, the beginning of the end. I find it all completely fascinating!
