‘ Cas, come on. This isn’t a fair fight anyway, you’re an angel. ’
Ash might be a bit stronger than a normal guy, y’know, a normal guy who doesn’t have an ancient eldritch magic book bound to their soul, but he doubts he’d fare very well against an angel of the lord. Probably worse off than a normal guy, honestly, considering his soul is marred by demonic possession.
He’s also never been too good at sparring. He’s afraid of hurting his friends, who wouldn’t be? Cas isn’t going to let up however, and Ash knows this is just training, even if he doesn’t enjoy it. He focuses, his expression unchanging from it’s current disappointed, nervous appearance, and then he tries again. Another hit is aimed for the angel, this time it’s a maneuver that if done correctly, should flip the angel flat on his back.
“It is fair. I’m not using my abilities.” Cas said simply, letting out a soft chuckle at the grumpy nature of his lover. “It’s just to make sure you can handle yourself in a fight if it comes to hand to hand combat. I need to know you can protect yourself.” He explained as he rolled his shoulders, waiting for his mate to attack.
When he did he was pleasantly taken aback. With a yelp he fell right right on his ass. He grunted as he stayed there on his back, smiling up at the Hunter before lightly yanking him down on top of him, leaning up and pressing a soft kiss to Ash’s lips in turn. “You got me while I was taken off guard. Good move.” He purred.
@grccvy asked: ‘ hey. jude. can you, like — stop it? the whole, face, thing? yeah?’
’ what’s the matter, ash? i got somethin’ on my face or something? ‘
“ . . . ash, you haven’t died on me yet, have you ? “

She laughs, a soft and husky sound, stretching her arms over her head before settling them on her chest, making no hasty move to take off just yet.
“Mostly english...mostly good.” Meg purrs, reaching out to brush her finger tips against his cheek briefly. Usually she runs out, avoids any potential attachment or tender discussion. Self preservation and all that. But she can’t seem to make herself hurry.

“Of course, I would,” Kekipi smiled, gently punching him in a playful manner. “Can’t get rid of me now anyway, you’re stuck with me,” she chuckled. He seemed to be relieved that she was going to stay around and she was happy with his reaction.
“Besides, we’re in this together. I wouldn’t leave you hanging, Ash.”

The car & trailer stood out against the Victorian architecture. Jason took a breath and got out of the car. Home. He was home. He'd just... needed time away from Gotham. Time to get his head on right. But now he was ready. He'd learned new skills, he'd gone to to toe with actual demons. Joker was nothing.
He finally felt safe. Turned back to make sure Ash was following. "Come on. Don't tell me you're not pumped to meet THE BAT!" He grinned over his shoulder, then banged on the door. "DAD! I'm home!" He bounced on his toes. Knocked again until the door opened.
Bruce took a step back as he processed the scene. "Jason." He scooped the teen up, teary-eyed joy as he laughed. He buried his face in Jason's hair, simply standing there and holding him silently. "You're alive. How are you-- I thought-- You're alive." He looked down as Jason pulled away. 5ft nothing, the teen was cradled in his fathers arms as he nodded over at Ash.
"This is Ash! He was my dad for a while. He fights demons. He helped me escape!" Well, Jason had already half-escaped by the time their paths crossed. Ash had helped him not go back. Kept him out of Gotham long enough for Jokers shadow to finally fade. Helped convince him he deserved better.
Bruce pressed a kiss to Jason's temple, staring at the stranger with red eyes. "Thank you. Thank you." He set Jason down. Hand tight around Jason's shoulder, he opened the oak doors to invite them inside. "Won't you come in? Please." Bruce smiled wide, Jason glanced over his shoulder and nodded feverently.

it was the morning she didn’t wake up. well, she did. kind of. it was the morning she found herself sinking through the floor and stumbling through the couch. it was the morning she found out she was ash’s #1 target — that she was a GHOST. that she couldn’t touch him ever again, and that he would surely mean her demise. words caught in her throat, not that he would hear them anyway. I’M HERE she manages to scrawl in the fog of the bathroom mirror. - — would he know it’s her ? or would he end whatever her existence was on the spot ?
