What song would you choose as your theme song? Drops of Jupiter by Train (just because it’s one of favourite songs of all time)
If you could live in a fictional world, which would you choose? HARRY POTTER HANDS DOWN NO QUESTIONS ASKED TAKE ME TO HOGWARTS RIGHT NOW
You’re given the choice between two boxes. One is gold and adorned in jewels. The other is silver and has intricate runes carved into it. Which do you choose and why? Silver with runes. I’m a sucker for cool designs and I when I wear jewelry, I generally prefer silver over gold.
Do you prefer to go to cafes or libraries more? Cafes. Sometimes I find libraries too quiet and any noise I make feels amplified. Plus, I can eat and drink without worry in a cafe.
What stories (books, TV, Movies, Video games, etc) influenced you the most as a child? Harry Potter is probably the biggest one. Special shout out to Mulan because I’m half Chinese and I would pretend to be just like her when I first started Karate.
Would you have super vision at the cost of your hearing, or super hearing at the cost of your sight? I’ve literally changed my answer to this five times. Goshdarnit Sarah! Why you gotta be askin’ such hard questions?! I think I’d go with the super vision because I don’t remember what it’s like to not have vision correction of some kind and it would be such a blessing to never have to worry about that again. As much as I hate absolute silence and would miss music, I think I would be able to adapt to it faster. Going blind is a very real fear for me so I think the transition would be way more traumatic.
What super power would you absolutely hate to have? Why? Immortality. As much as I don’t want to die, the thought of living forever is kind of depressing and does not appeal to me at all.
Do you want/have any tattoos? I’ve been toying with the idea of getting either the Cantonese character for the number three or three tally marks but I can’t decide which one I want or where. It’d be an unofficial companion to my middle sister’s Roman numeral three to represent us three sisters. I’d love to get a Harry Potter tattoo but I haven’t given it too much serious thought yet.
What is your favourite fictional creature? Fairies
Would you rather fight a horse sized duck or a duck sized horse? Duck sized horse, but I would probably try to keep it as a pet instead of fighting it.

Do you have/want any tattoos? If you do, describe them. I don't have any but I've been toying with the idea of getting one similar to my sister. She has a roman numeral three on the side of her foot because we're family with three sisters. Haven't ruled out the possibility of a Harry Potter related one. No idea where I'd put either though...
What everyday things, if any, give you faith in humanity? People who hold the door for others (I don't know, does that count as a thing?)
What is the one thing in the world that makes you happier than any other thing? (It could be family, friends, fandom, food… lot of F’s.) The unconditional support I feel from my friends and family.
On a scale from 1 to 10 - 1 being not at all obsessed and 10 being your soul cries out for more with such a clamo(u)r that it physically hurts you - how obsessed are you with cheese? This is a tricky question because I like cheese but consuming any quantity of it without taking the proper precautions can result in a very unhappy Alison with a tummyache. Ummm... Four? Yeah. Four.
What is your favo(u)rite story of all time? (Book, fairytale, movie, real life event, whatever) Ahhhhhh!! No that's hard!! Ummmm... Possibly a cop out but I'm going have to say Harry Potter.
If you were to lead an army to take over the world, how would you choose your lieutenants? WHY ARE YOUR QUESTIONS SO HARD?? I'd probably just ask all of my close friends because they're so much cooler and better getting stuff done than I am. I'd probably try to delegate tasks based on their strengths are and have them work in the capacity that best suits their interests and personality.
You are the world’s leading biochemical engineer (or something). You create a new species. What is the most confusing/baffling thing that has ever happened to you?
I don't know if it's the most baffling thing ever but this is pretty recent so it's leaping to mind. Our tub wasn't draining properly for weeks and we couldn't figure out why. We called our landlord and she checked it out, we poured drain cleaner down it, she brought in a plumber to snake the pipes, nothing. It magically started draining properly on Tuesday. Don't know why or how but I'm not complaining!

i’m leaving for my first flight to newark around 6 am (eastern) tomorrow, then my flight from there to israel is at like 2 pm. so after that, these rules apply:
1) israel time is 7 hours ahead of eastern time. yeah i know.
2) i’m gonna have a different phone number that i will give you soon. i suggest deleting my american number so you don’t accidentally text me or something cause i don’t know what would happen. yay.
3) only //I// can call //YOU//. so if you want a phone call just tell me via one of the options you’ll read on this list and we’ll make it a date and i’ll call you for under 30 minutes it'll be a party.
4) NO TEXTING!!!! LIKE AT ALL!!!! ((unless you’re in israel for some reason in which case why the fuck are you in israel))
5) download VIBER - it’s an app that has texting and calling via the internet wow what a time to be alive. you can text me on there and i’ll see it and respond whenever i have wifi.
6) i will have my laptop and the school has wifi of soon-to-be-determined reliability. so basic internet stuff (email, facebook, tumblr, etc) is obviously cool. i just probably won’t be able to respond immediately.
it’s like really!!! important!!! that you don’t text/call cause i’ll have to pay for it and that won’t be fun okay thanks
