Three Greek universities were selected for the first batch of "European University Alliance"!
The European Commission recently announced that higher education institutions from all over the Europe will establish the first European Universities Alliances. Among the 54 applications received, 17 universities were selected from 114 higher education institutions in 24 member countries.
The first list of European Universities Alliances has been released, three famous Greek universities are included. They are: National and Kapodistrain University OF Athens, Agricultural University of Athens, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
This initiative aims to strengthen the mobility of students and teachers and promote the quality, inclusiveness and competitiveness of European higher education. For each selected university, they will receive up to 5 million euros over the next three years to begin implementing their plans.
This will greatly improve the quality of education in Greece.
