naut so mysterious
the Nauts are supposed to be super secretive, so it was such a pleasant surprise to find out that Vasco is rather chatty. Even compared to De Sardet's other companions... like, Petrus made a lifelong career out of talking for over 3 decades.
And I might be reading too much into Greedfall's gameplay animations, but it seems as if Vasco gets easily embarrassed and regrets several of the more random comments that he blurts out. his little head shakes just look as if he's thinking something along the lines of "did I really just say that? exactly what did I say? why did I say that in front of this royal landlubber"
I bet he got into quite a bit of trouble as a simple sailor for speaking too freely. or out of turn. or without enough forethought once his passion overrides his good senses.
i mean someone must cherish and protect this brash yet bashful young captain. His tongue gets loose and goes off on an occasional rampage but he becomes so sheepish afterwards. Please provide him with a cozy shelter from society that he can come to
