it felt different. it felt like that thing he felt; when he knows something had been happening during the night. it felt exhausting and it certainly did not feel like he had fainted. but he most definitely did black out. again. and with a careful breath; it catching in his throat slightly, he motioned to her and stepped forward; not entirely satisfied with the answer she gave, but deciding to run with it anyway.    

“    w- i don’t remember any of tha’. there were bad people at the museum ?? at a london museum ?? what are you talking about, are you- are you talking about terrorists ?? shouldn’t there be police or - or someone official around ?? who are you ??  ”

The wolf groans again, lifting her head up from the pillow to yawn before glancing over at Spector. She could smell the food that was already prepared in the kitchen and she lets out a soft hum. “Alright, alright,” she tells her, rolling over onto her back and stretching out slightly. “I’ll get up and meet you in the kitchen, cool? I need to get dressed.”

Matt took over his helmet, holding it in his hands. “What type of payment are we talking about, sweetheart?” He tilts his head a bit with a smug look. He wanted to mess with her after what went down in their meeting. Thinking it was only fair to bite back.

“Don’t flatter yourself.” Matt pats her shoulder as he walks past her standing right behind her. “I didn’t do it for you. I did it for the city. But I think it weird that you got yourself in trouble right after we met.” His lawyer brain was ticking a bit, “care to explain that, Ms. Spector.”

"Mathew Murdock?" Spector looked down at the card then back up at the devil dressed man. "we just...we just knocked out a bunch of people and you're giving me-...You're giving me your card...for a lawyer." Spector was absolutely dumb founded by this. "I-...I have no words." she looked down at the card checking it out more

“Thought you might need it.” Matt usually doesn’t hand out his card when he is dressed up in the devil suit, but he could quickly get around when it comes to the law since he was a lawyer. “Also, you have my number, well, my work number.” He shrugs his shoulders a bit, not knowing what else to say.

“Why do you care? We don’t sleep with each other.” Matt was taken back by her words, not understanding where they were coming from. He wasn’t going to lie about what he does in the bedroom, but that was only for the people he slept with, not random people. “You been thinking about me again?”

Jake kept his hands on his lap, afraid to touch her and get scared again, so he sat there, letting her feel him. “Still wasn’t right, though.” He should have controlled himself better, but seeing her dress like that caused him to lose his train. He should have stopped what he was doing and take deep breaths before moving.

He nods his head at her words. “I want to try over again. I need you.” He reaches out to her, lightly touching her arms.
