Silly little aquarium dreamcore collage I made awhile back, all photos taken by me.
Just look at the diversity.
Copperband butterflies have striking stripes and an unusual shape, making them an elegant addition to many tanks. But take care to ensure gentle transport, as copperbands are notoriously sensitive to shipping and water quality.
Just look at that copperband butterfly! They are notoriously difficult to ship and successfully introduce to aquaria. However, once established, copperbands are among some of the most beloved of butterflyfish. Why? Well, look at that snoot. It is simply NOT built for snacking on large corals or ornamental anemones. Instead, it is really useful for picking at smaller things (like Aiptasia).
Percula clownfish hanging in their anemones if you look close. How can I tell that they are percula? The black banding is thick and almost..... smudgy.
What a neat assemblage of reef life!
