Green nya headcanon: Pidge may not actually need glasses, but its become second nature to wear them...which is a pain, because they sometimes end up smacking themselves in the face or accidentally poking an eye when they reach up to adjust said glasses- only to realize much too late that they're not currently wearing them. Needless to say, this hurts. (The others find it hilariously endearing.)

and it’s funnier to me because I NEED glasses and I STILL POKE MYSELF IN THE FACE. Like there are times when I’m wearing them and forget they’re there and reach up to scratch my eye and poke the lenses instead.So I can totally see Pidge doing that. And it makes sense since they don’t wear their glasses with their Paladin helmet on.
