The REAL Jill Stein
On Brexit- “The Brexit vote should be a wake-up call to the EU – they need to do more to respect democracy at the national level; serve the interests of the people by controlling transnational corporations, not empowering them; and protect the environment, not allow big business profits to come before the environment. As progressives we need to explain that the neoliberal policies of the EU are weakening workers, creating an expanded wealth divide as well as creating an environment where racism against immigrants can flourish. We also need to make clear it is the militarist policies of the US and NATO that is causing the migrant crisis. I still support Corbyn’s, Lucas’ and the UK Greens' view and hope the EU hears these concerns because they exist in many nations. If they do not fix the EU, it could fall apart.“ On Vaccines- Still, vaccines should be treated like any medical procedure–each one needs to be tested and regulated by parties that do not have a financial interest in them. In an age when industry lobbyists and CEOs are routinely appointed to key regulatory positions through the notorious revolving door, its no wonder many Americans don’t trust the FDA to be an unbiased source of sound advice. (aka don’t trust vaccines because of EVIL PHARMACIES) On autism- “I got involved as a mother and a medical doctor. I had been, for a while, very alarmed about the public health calamities that I was witnessing as a new doctor and a mother of young kids. There were these new epidemics of asthma and cancer and autism and diabetes and obesity. And I said to myself, ‘Hey, our genes didn’t change overnight.’ You know, my generation didn’t grow up with this.” On Wi-Fi- “"We Should Not Be Subjecting Children's Brains To Wi-Fi Screens In Schools. It's Not OK” Oh and she just BARELY has more political experience than Trump. And you know how Obama faced obstruction from the Republicans for eight years? Remember that there are no members of the Green Party in congress or the senate. She’d face worse obstruction than Obama did.
