Before Christmas break- Black Box Workshop
In this workshop we had to pick a random box without knowing what is inside. When knowing what the product is you have to think of a short commercial of showing what the product is and how it can attract to the audience.
Our Christmas ad was around the idea that the chocolate bar was supposed to be a gift too. The humorous side to it is that they actually end up eating the bar instead but realising that it might be a bit late, so they try and still wrap it up as a gift.
The whole point was to show that the chocolate is so addictive and tasty it is irresistible. This type of brand is supposed to be luxurious as of why it would be such a good gift for someone as it isn't just normal average chocolate.
We did stop motion as it was easier to create the video and produce the idea that as the person packages the other presents she just eats the main but still wraps it. What I think we could do better next time is the logo needs to be clearer at the end. But my favourite bit is the writing at the end, ‘It’s the thought that counts’, it makes the whole video.
