this is. something i would wear and have worn and for that does not fit in this universe tbh it’s too. like. normal

like. its SO FUCKIGN NORMAL like. NO ONE DRESSES MODERNLY! IN THIS SHOW! and ESPECIALLY when shes gonna take them to the hotel where were gonna see esme like shes stepped DIRECTLY OUT OF THE EIGHTIES LIKE. you cant have Thoroughly Modern Kit over here and then smash cut to Miss Eighties Vogue!!! you just CANT!

and when i say NO ONE dresses normal, im including the baudelaires on this and they are the normallest of everyone and id still place their fashion in the ‘00s at the LATEST. like. klaus is dressed up like a lil professor a lot of the time but like. other than lil mr professor (which i sometimes saw in middle school anyway) theyre dressed like the fashion i grew up with. NO ONE is dressed like the now and it makes me wanna pull my hair out that Kit is dressed so NOW.
