Day 29: Trust
On October 29, 1988 (1985 in the NK Volumes), L babysits a young Texan couple's baby named Marie. He spends the day feeding her melted chocolate, watching Halloween cartoons with her, introducing her to the song "Thriller" by Michael Jackson, and even giving her a Halloween-themed bath. I decided to make the tub black and the water green just to make it spooky.
And yes, the Marie L is babysitting is the same Marie who becomes Light's successor in Death Note: The Next Kira.
