A quick and tasty side dish is lemony green beans cooked in the air fryer. If you add lemon zest and Parmesan cheese to green beans that are already cooked and have a little crunch, they taste great.
Ingredients: 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. Zest and juice of 1 lemon. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Lemon wedges for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat your air fryer to 375F 190C. In a mixing bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, salt, and pepper until well coated. Place the seasoned green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the green beans are tender and slightly crispy. Remove the green beans from the air fryer and drizzle them with lemon juice. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the green beans while they're still warm. Garnish with lemon wedges and serve immediately.
