greenbikerdude replied to your post: On the topic of wigs (and shitty photographs thereof), I think I MIGHT be in love with a couple of Epic Cosplay wigs… but I’ve seen a few photos (including some on their very own website - in both the studio photos and the customer/event photos) in which EC wigs seem to turn MEGA SHINY - and a gross “sparkly”, plasticky shine, at that - with flash or in sunlight. …which puts me off majorly. :( But you’ve said their fiber quality is very nice, so should I chalk all that up to bad cameras?

the answer is TEASING and hairspray
Only the very top layer of the wig (and the front pieces) are un-teased. The inside is a total mess of teasing and hairspray. I arrange the smooth un-teased fibers over and... POOF.
