Back home for a week and taking the chance to check the green of the Surrey Countryside before heading off to Svalbard at the end of May. Will be the first time in 3 years thanks to the pandemic and looking forward to the Arctic scenery. In the meantime soaking up the countryside at its greenest in late Spring/early Summer after my time on the St. Lawrence river and Great Lakes. Spring was just beginning, in mid May with green leaves just starting to appear. So Surrey and the Surrey Hills looked so green on my return.
