“Emo boy.”

“Excuse me? It is obviously grunge, thank you very much.”

“Nah, grunge is more random hand-me-downs or thrifted outfit vibes. You coordinate too well.”

“…touché, but duh! How else am I supposed to look this good?”

“Take a look at this guy. Born with a natural green streak in his hair and he thinks he’s the fashion king or something.”

“Hey, you’ve already got the black jeans down. We just need to get you a black leather jacket and a chain for your belt loops, and then maybe you could be my apprentice.”

“Ew! No thanks. Hoodies are the epitome of comfort. Plus, hoods are a lot more useful to me than normal collars.”

A few beats of silence passed between the two before Morro spoke again. “…I hate that it has to be that way, but you’re right.” He let out a heavy sigh and Lloyd could hear an undertone of frustration in the man’s voice. “I yield; continue in your practical yet peasanty manner of dress.” His cousin placed his hand in the younger’s hair, mussing it up nicely while the blond protested.
