The game opens in your room: Day 1

You are a college student at Greenhelm Community College because it was cheaper than the bigger colleges in the area.

You didn’t have a specific degree in mind, just taking care of the core general classes for when you actually decide.

Not the best plan but at least you’re not going into debt. Unfortunately today wasn’t a school day.

It was a work day. You sigh as you go grab your uniform from the nebulous “clean” laundry pile that had gathered on your desk chair.

You should really clean that. But after work of course.

You put on your uniform and fix your hair, not like you actually cared but, you didn’t need any homeless comments.

The door opens to one of your roommates. “(Name)! You gotta help me..”

Your other roommate enters. “No (pronoun) doesn’t. You’re just mad you’re losing.”

“Shut up!”

“No, you”

(help or walk past)

(Help) “What is it?”

“She stole my shirt!”

“Yeah right, you wish your shit was this good looking”

“It’s my size!”

“Then why does it fit me so well?”

The two continue to bicker, not letting you get a chance to talk.

-(Leave or interrupt)

(Interrupt) “Hey! Give her the shirt.”

“What? That’s not fair.”

“Yes! I knew you had my back!”

Roommate 2 takes off the shirt and hands it to roommate 1. (Sprite 2 changes to shirtless sprite. Sprite 1 changes to the sprite with the shirt)

-(Walk past) Your roommates often fought and argued over the simplest thing, you didn’t have time today. You walk past them and let them sort out their stupid dispute.

You grab a quick snack from the kitchen before heading to the bus stop outside the apartment.

As you sit at the bus stop waiting, someone sits next to you. (Abb sprite fades in.)

You give a quick glance, admiring the aesthetic and look ahead once more.

The outfit was (pretty cool or weird)

The outfit was (opinion) you decided. The mask was a definite commitment to the style. Should you say something? (yes or no)

(Yes)

“Hey, uh… your outfit is (pretty cool) I like the mask”

“Your outfit is uh… (really something), especially the mask”

He turns and looks at you blankly, or well. It looked blank because of the mask. “Thank you”

(No)

Nah, you won’t say anything. You’re sure he already knows what he looks like.

As you sit at the bus stop you realize that he was familiar somehow. Had you seen him before? No, you’d remember seeing someone like that. Right?

The bus arrived, breaking you out of your thoughts.

You stand up and get on the bus.

You pay and sit down, now realizing how tall he is.

He was tall, really tall, like freakishly tall.

He turns and glances at you. Crap, were you staring?

“Sorry” You quickly apologize, now feeling awkward. Though, he still hasn’t stopped looking at you. Was he mad at you? It was so hard to tell.

“(Name?)”

What? He knew your name? How did he know your name?

“Uh, yeah?”

“I sit behind you in government.”

Oh? He was in my class? How did I never notice him before? He’s certainly hard to miss.

“Really?”

He nods

“Oh, I guess I don’t look behind very often,”

“No, you don’t”

“Sorry about that, what was your name again?”

“Abbadon…. But you can, call me something else. If you want. My name doesn’t bring good things.”

“Oh, really?” (Give nickname or Abbadon)

(Nickname)

“Well if you don’t like your name, I don’t want to call you it. Let’s call you (nickname)”

(Abbadon)

“Well, I don’t know about that. I like your name, it sounds badass.”

His eyes never leave yours.

“Thank you”
