It starts in ‘91, doesn’t it? (where did I get this fact from? I don’t know)
I think the same thing and have the same source citing problem!
I think what Hellman needs right now is a very pretty person to become his model for absolutely everything, improving his talents and tragically consuming the whole of his creative being. Do you think Christopher Strauli would like Sweden?

Honestly you can totally skip this book. It has some nice Raffles/Bunny interactions but other than that it doesn’t add anything to the canon and it just makes you want to punch Hornung in the dick a bit. I know lots of people just skip it.
OK, good to know I'm not the only one. I'll just take a short break. Read another book. I was alright for a while, but now I wish I could wash it out of my brain.
But I am very poorly today and very stupid and hate everybody and everything.

What does the title mean? Now I’m curious!
The titles are "Futari de Dorobo wo" (Amateur Cracksman), "Mata Mata Futari de Dorobo wo" (The Black Mask) and "Saigo ni Futari de Dorobo wo" (A Thief in the Night).
The "futari de" part really just means two people, but honestly (and I'm not a native speaker) I feel like "Burgling, just the two of us" captures the vaguely romantic air of the phrasing. Again, not a native speaker, but that would make it
"Burgling, Just the Two of Us", "Burgling, Just the Two of Us, Again" and "Burgling, Just the Two of Us, One Last Time"

First page. Last year I made some sketches, I was going to make a Hobbitfanzine but then life happened. I found three pages of this story and I don't remember how it would end, so I have to rewrite it.

aj is so embarrassing though
what hurts most about that pun is that it is 100% in-character
