“Oh no…what did we do?” (Hal)
Roy had been sleeping soundly, curled up against the warm body next to her. She had slept like a baby, worn out from a night of ...well clearly something her partner had regretted. It’s on the tip of her tongue to ask. “What do you think?” but she pauses when she recognizes the voice beside her. “Hal?” She questioned, voice in a loud whisper. “Oh god.”
“That was a workout.” (Harold)
“Or maybe you’re just getting old.” Roy teased as she rolled over and pressed a kiss against Hal’s chest. At his expression of indignation she let out a laugh. “Trust me, you are far...far more capable than men half you’re age, in fact...” She lifted her head and kissed him this time square on the lips, “You might have broken the record for best I’ve ever had.”

Roy glanced down at Hal’s head as he was busily talking to her stomach. “Some of us more than others.” She said dryly. Pregnancy had not been an easy time for her, having to give up her life of heroing for nine months was difficult enough, but the child she was carrying was a Jordan through and through as was evidenced by strange cravings, odd waking hours, and being extraordinarily active in ways that she was half convinced were bruising her insides. Still, she was excited to see Hal taking such an interest in her pregnancy now, especially considering how far they had come since she had first broke the news.She took Hal’s hand in her own and laid in just under her left rib. “You can feel his head right here.” Roy said after a moment, trying to ignore how good it felt to have Hal’s hands on her once more even if it were just for something like this. “He sleeps curled up in a ball.”

Aimee couldn’t help it as she raised a brow at him. “Who says that they aren’t, Rich?” She asked, fingers running through her hair. She wasn’t sure how they had gotten here but she was more than content in his arms and with his hands on her hips. “I think if two people want to kiss each other it shouldn’t matter if they’re friends or not.” She whispered, leaning closer to him as she brushed her lips against his softly. “I think it makes it sweeter. Honestly. Fuck that rule, Richard and kiss me.”
“If you wanna kill the world, then start with me. I’ve earned that.” (Harold)
“I don’t want to kill the world, but you...that’s a whole different story.” The woman leaned her head against the toilet. “I’ve been throwing up for the past hour and it doesn’t seem like there is an end in sight.” She tossed a glare in Hal’[s direction. ‘This is all yours, clearly this child has already decided that you’re teh favorite parent because it’s torturing the hell out of me.”

“Oh you are so jealous.” Roy said, poking him in the side. “Look at him, he’s giving her the eyes and she just gave him a drink on the house, if you’re not jealous than you don’t have eyes.” Roy snorted. “Besides, i know how you are, I see that look on your face, you want nothing more than to shoot him right between the eyes.”

“You know, normally I’d take the compliment but when you’re wearing that guilty as hell expression it really makes me wonder you’re up to.” Roy cocked her head to the side. “ ‘Fess up Jordan, what did you do?”

“Are we?” Roy choked out, glancing at Hal for a moment, green eyes glaring into his dark ones. “Because look at us, we’re the last two people on earth that should be raising kids, let alone together.” Her own past was out there for everyone to see, and Hal was gone far too often, devoted more to the corp then he could ever be to a family. “Face it, we’ve doomed this poor kid to .. fuck.” And then she looked over at Hal once more. “I’m the last person on earth that’s mother material, hell I know supervillains with more maternal instincts and you... assuming Ollie doesn’t kill you for this do you really think you’re ready to handle being a father?”
