Hi guys, I'm GreenGlow! I'm the one who was all "oooh prooom steaaampunk." Here's a little explanation behind that: I don't really want to attend prom, but if I do, I want to go out with a bang. And I thought, hey, why not put together a steampunk costume! It'll be awesome! And why not make it focus on my signature color, green?
And then after even more discussion with Terry and Crimz, I thought up some more ways to insert my "character" into the costume. The Green Deciever is something of an anti-hero, one that confuses people about which side their on, and is very good at keeping into emotions. So it was decided that a mask or something of the sort be included in the costume, along with some interesting weaponry. Since I might wear it to prom (and use it as my design final project) the weaponry probably won't be included at first.
This will definitely be an interesting project, since it's my first time doing steampunk, and I'm still quite new to the sewing machine. But I've put together costumes before, all it takes is some time, ingenuity, and creativity. I can't wait to start sharing my progress and ideas.
Anyway, I hope this costume goes along well, and it won't be long before I get to meet Crimz and Terry for the first time!
