ryan is such an asshole about it like part of the story is the art heist but Gavin is also like ‘listen you all clearly need my help to pull this off but it’d help if you at least tried to work with me here’ and like. maybe geoff and jack and jeremy aren’t passionate about art like he is but he can sit them down and explain to them why he loves it so much and they can be like ‘oh, okay, i get it.’ and michael... tries his best (gavin lovingly compares more modern pieces with abstract emotion and even the explosions that michael loves to make and michael’s like, oh, okay, i see and gavin is So Proud) but ryan just fuckin digs his heels in to be difficult.
when gavin learns that ryan not only has a few fave artists of his own but also possesses random trivia about them. gavin is ready to throw tf down.
