That is what NTPC has asked one EPC contractor to deliver at Pudimadaka under tender 2026_NTPC_107725_1, on a lump sum, across five process blocks sitting at two sites 25 km apart. Before bids closed on 23 July, NTPC quietly cut the minimum stable load on the CO2 capture block from 50 percent to 40. On a plant running on renewable power, that ten-point change decides how many hours a year it makes anything at all.
