Greg: “Why don’t you come with us, Rowan? It’s cold outside but if you bundle up, I’m sure you’ll be fine! We can teach you some basic sailing techniques, hm?” Rowan: “Well.. I don’t think it’s a good idea? It’s not the cold that bothers me.. It’s just.. I get motion sickness really easily? So going on a boat is probably not the best thing.” *laughs* Rick: *smiles* “That’s right.. Don’t take Rowan on a date to an amusement park. It’s not gonna be fun. Learned that the hard way.” Rowan: *laughs* “Yeah, that was not of our best dates ever.. But it’s fine! I’ll go read my book and I’ll enjoy myself here.” Rick: “Thank you babe.. I guess I’ll see you tonight then. We’ll be sure to be back before dinner.”
Rick’s mother let out a happy yelp and greeted her son with the broadest smile on her face. With her arms wide open, Rick’s mother threw her arm around her son and hugged him tight. Rowan watched happily as Rick greeted his family with the biggest smile on his face.
The Brennan family dog, Bentley, seemed to be happy to see both Rowan and Rick as well, his tail swiping back and forth furiously. Rowan grinned and gave him a quick scratch on the head. It wasn’t enough for the dog though, as he jumped up against Rowan and demanded to get a proper hug.

One photograph. Endless myths.
Greg Brennan’s image of Kate Moss smoking in a London theatre fire exit became one of his best-known photographs. Taken in 2007, the image became emblematic of the supermodel’s so-called “party era”, shaped by years of tabloid fascination during fashion’s “heroin chic” era of the 1990s. Greg says much of the public perception surrounding the photograph was simply untrue.
An interesting look at how celebrity photographs can take on meanings far beyond the moment they actually captured.
Rick, Cory and Greg came in just when dinner was being served and the whole Brennan family plus Rowan gathered around the table. The smell of the tofu chicken was phenomenal and the wine that Alexandra had chosen for this meal really tied the whole meal together.
Greg: “Pfft! You say it so easily now but last week you were a fucking mess, dude. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many emotions coming from you, Cory.” Cory: “Oh, shut it! Not my fault you have the emotional range of a teaspoon.” Rick: *laughs* “I see you two are still as friendly as ever..” Cory: “Dude, let’s go sailing today! Like old times!” Greg: “Hell yeah?! The weather is amazing for sailing today. I’m in. How long has it been since we went together?” Rick: “Oh, probably the summer before last? Damn, it really has been a while..” Cory: “You in, Ricky?” Rick: “I guess so.. Um.. Ro?”
