Just found out Martha Stewart blamed this entire incident solely on my dad.
So what, exactly, happened that fateful night in 1997? Greg T and Scotty B decided to pay Martha an early Christmas visit on December 17th. The lifestyle guru was not home at the time, and the Morning Show duo ended up talking to one of her maids. They were able to convince her that they were actually supposed to be there for a video shoot later that day. Coincidentally, Martha did have a shoot planned and the maid let them in.
The maid quickly realized the error she made and called Martha. After hearing about the apparent trespassers in her home, she ordered her maid to call the police. Greg T and Scotty B were swiftly arrested by the Westport police and forced to pay a 77 dollar fine for their actions. Since then there has been Taylor Swift levels of bad blood between the Morning Show crew and Martha Stewart.
