For those of you who know the works of or have collected #FrancksFrançoisDeceus, you already know the significance of this piece, Keeping Faith. Mixed media on wood, 48x48 and completed in 2004, this is a rare large-scale painting that has been available. Curator @TerrellTilford has been working alongside #FrancksDeceus since 1999, when he, #MelvinAMarshall of @ArtCultureNow and a small group curating under the banner #TheArtistsShowcaseSeries first showed his work in midtown-Manhattan. Subsequent shows followed in Oakland and downtown LA (#DTLA). TilfordArtGroup would eventually produce a multitude of shows with Françks.
