Fazbear Entertainment had far too many complaints and lawsuits to keep the lawyers off their backs, and the Security Breach incident made it even worse. They couldn’t afford to keep their establishment open and It's not like the press would let them either way. Eventually, they caved and had to sell the Animatronics and demolish the Pizza Plex. A picture-perfect opportunity for you. Of course, your son had previously told you all about what happened that night he got locked in the Pizza Plex. Oh, how you were reveling in the advantages of being rather wealthy. You would buy every single one of the animatronics, and then pay top dollar to have their upgrades removed and replaced and remove all murderous intent. At that point, you could even build an entire new Mall just for them, and make sure to actually hire humans for the jobs instead of bots. But first, you needed to get your receptionist to make the offer for all of the animatronics besides the staff ones.

Once The animatronics all arrived and got fixed and powered on they were utterly confused. Sure Management told them they were getting sold off and they were utterly distraught, but where the hell were they now?!
When Freddy saw Gregory after booting up he looked confused, hurt maybe? And when he said his name his voice cracked and he almost sounded on the verge of tears. (Not that he could cry)
The other animatronics though... They knew Gregory but they didn’t want to hurt him anymore? It was confusing... But how could they not want to punish him, He was after all an intruder.
Once they got an in-depth explanation of what was occurring and what had happened when they were shut off they started to come to terms with their situation. Maybe even embrace it a bit?
They soon after noticed their mandatory hourly charge was removed and they could go a week without being charged.
Moondrop and Sundrop were also elated to finally not be confined to the lights and be able to switch at will.
