GREYYYY oh boy ranting, I’m usually on the opposite end of ranting but I’ll try

Why do trilogies always follow this pattern of first book: great amazing talented brilliant show stopping second book: meh you’re average you’re lukewarm water you suffice third book: utter trash, zero development, what kind of an ending was that? How am I supposed to love with this now hshdhdhjdjjdh

Not all of them but most of the ones I’ve read haha it’s frustrates me bc the world building has sooo much potential and the characters have sooo much potential and then you go do this

Oh my I haven’t read a lot of poetry but I think I can give you some of my favourite quotes from this book called six of crows

“The heart is an arrow. It demands aim to land true”

“The water hears and understands. The ice does not forgive”

“I have been made to protect you. Only in death will I be kept from this oath”

And some lines from Richard Siken that I like out of context bc I haven’t actually read any of his stuff

“Sorry about the blood in your mouth. I wish it was mine”

And this is my favourite quote without ever having read Euripides by Anne Carson

“I’ll take care of you”

“It’s rotten work”

“Not to me. Not if it’s you”

I think that it’s for now and I’m def gonnna try to read more and maybe I’ll have longer ones and poems in there too!
