GRFC names 18-man squad for Rog Garner Charity match at 5/3rd Ballpark

Captain Noble Sullivan will once again lead GRFC into 5/3rd Ballpark, this time on October 14th as the Boys in Blue host the La Raza All-Stars in a charity match benefiting local soccer legend Roger Garner and the American Cancer Society.

Lewis Robinson gets his first shot on the sidelines for the men’s team after taking over as Director of Soccer Operations in September.

One week after their separation with former head coach George Moni, Grand Rapids Futbol Club is still searching for the next “Boss of the Boys” for the 2018 season. GRFC hopes to name a new head coach in the next few weeks.

After leading GRFC to the Great Lakes West Conference title in 2016 and the first ever playoff win in club history, Moni will not be offered a contract for the 2018 season.
