She’s taking one of her usual walks, trying to get some air and stretch her legs out after work. After all, she’s not required until later, when she actually has to be on the air and working for a two-hour segment. For now, it’s time to get some air and enjoy the world around her. After all, it’s nearly been a year in places like this, she’s gotten used to most of its oddities. 

Spotting a strange looking individual playing chess by themselves catches her eye, and as politely as she can, she sidles over to take a look. No need for anxiety, she tells herself, rolling her shoulders back.

“Hi there! Care for a partner? Chess is more fun that way.”

More an entire concept, to be honest? 

Wolf was never buried after she died. None of the people who died at Shadow Moses were. It’s something that makes her incredibly, incredibly angry. While she was prepared to die for this cause, and understands why she was in fact, killed, the fact that her body was so disrespected as to be left in the snow in Alaska is something that leaves a bitter taste in her mouth. 

She wishes it could have been at least a little different, and that she had at least, a proper place to rest.

“Hello, Grievous.” She has to stifle a yawn when she greets the other, hiding it with a small cough into the crook of her arm. Not sleeping does that, and while frustrated with herself, she’d made her promises, and so, comes forward to meet the other at the studio on a day she’d considered taking off. There are others, after all. But, the other has gotten all the way through security for this, so she shrugs off her cardigan to drape it over her arm, obviously a bit uncomfortable with her state of dress. 

The flowers in her hair- carnations this time- seem to help.

But, she shakes it off and waves a hand to the other. “Welcome to SNO. We’ve got repairmen in for a leak in the roof, so uh, don’t mind the noise, or the ladders. I couldn’t get it rescheduled without risk of the floors getting warped.” 

That, and the leak was right above her anchor desk. Truly, truly terrible. 

“It’s good to see you again! Adjusting alright?”

you think a dumbass like him would wear armor?

he finds it to be too clunky, in all honesty, otherwise he would wear some to protect himself. he’s already slowed down by having to use a whip ( which is one of the reasons he learned martial arts, in case he couldn’t get to one of his weapons ), and it’s already so constraining so the idea of wearing armor just isn’t appealing to him personally. 

besides, in his own words: “i’m overflowing with the blood of a vampire hunter, after all. i need to let a little out once in a while.”
