How would Balan and lance try and help someone who’s pet recently died and they had a dream that the pet’s ghost came back and they ended up in wonderworld because of it? Sorry if this doesn’t make sense

I think you just described Cass's situation. Her cause of imbalance was because she thought she lost her cat due to a car crash, and she blamed herself for it. Now, of course, the cat came out fine. But we're talking about a pet who really died. Either out of natural causes or an accident.

Like in the novel, Balan tells them that it will take a long time to heal from the hurt. Losing a pet is always painful, and there will always be a hole in your heart where you're little furry friend used to be. Though you have to understand how much it hurts so you can move on. He's not asking you to forget; he wants you to keep the good memories of your pet when you still had it.

Lance's usual way is to bury and hide that memory forever. He knows it's painful and knows full well that grieving over it feels like it takes forever. I'm not sure if he would give the visitor a "replica" of said animal. Maybe a plush or something. Either way, he's trying to make you forget it so that it won't hurt you anymore. But again, that isn't the ideal way to move on.

How would Balan and Lance react to a Visitor who had lost her spouse? And it was exactly on her wedding day? And this Visitor is convinced that she’ll never be able to find happiness again?

In a way, that sounds vaguely similar to Iben's situation. But with a different circumstance. Remember, her parents died and her fiancé was starting to give up hope that she would ever move on and recover. So she could relate to this visitor somewhat.

Balan feels for this visitor about how they might never feel happiness again. And how difficult it will be to move on. But he's always there if you need some emotional support. It's ok to grieve, and although there's a hole where your loved ones ought to be, that tender spot will heal and you will find happiness again. Although the healing process is slow, things do get better. And who knows, maybe you'll find someone new or the person you've been looking for comes back, realizing they made a mistake leaving them that day.

Lance, being a maestro of negativity, knows all too well how this person feels. And he wishes he could just take it all away. Nobody deserves to feel that kind of abandonment. Whether it be death or the spouse ditching the other. He wants to make sure you never have to feel that kind of pain again. Though his methods of doing it are not justified.

i think emma really refuses to heal from the pain rooted in her relationship with her mother, tiffany. it's not just about what her mother has said or done to emma necessarily, but more so about the way that dynamic has taught emma to measure her self-worth entirely through other people's approval of her. tiffany's constant disapproval and emotional manipulation throughout her life really taught her to equate being loved with being agreeable/easy to manage. every single part of her identity [her body, her powers, even her personality] was something her mother tried to control and for the longest time, succeeded in. even while emma grows and grows more agency/independence in her life, she's still chasing a type of validation she'll never be able to obtain — all thanks to her mom. healing would mean letting go of that need entirely, and i don't think she's ready for that yet, because how else is she meant to understand herself if that pain isn't the root of it all?

Some people confuse the difference between their guides and their deceased loved ones. During meditation, or following a bereavement, a longing to be close to someone they deem ‘lost’ can lull people into believing that their mother/father or lost child is constantly with them. Whilst this can and does happen, it is also likely to be an awareness of their guide, who aware of the distress, will be trying to surround the person with soothing influences. Those who have passed over to spirit have to distance themselves from the earth plane at sometime. This does not prevent them from making ‘visits’ to their loved ones on the physical. It should be noted that guides are often entities who we have known in other lifetimes, rather than the present one.

Hey Guys and gals sorry for being around recently. My Grandma died last Friday so I’ve been grieving. But I’m okay, I’ve had a couple of meltdowns but I’m OK.

I recently found out a truth that I’ve been needing for a very long time and I’m able to now let it go. Which is really good. Because now me and my partner can really work on our relationship for the future.
