I had a friend say to me a while back, "Griffin, why can't you play these games like you do when you're on your own? You're actually pretty good and we could always win."
I remembered it as I was playing a game on my own and wanted to talk about it.
My mind was kinda boggled by this question because when I play with friends. It's not that I don't put effort into the game. I still play to win, it's the goal of the game.
But if I'm alone and playing, I'm full focus on the game. It's my only goal is to beat it. So I take things a little more seriously.
But if it's friends, I like to joke around and have fun with the game. There's an extra goal. Yes, we still try to win but we like to joke and have fun! It's a game. It's just not fun when someone goes, god why can't you focus up?
That's not my goal with friends. My goal is to joke with them. If we're just all serious face, that's not my play style with people. That's me alone. It's why I don't like a lot of, strictly competitive against your friends kind of games. I like when we can screw around together.
