❄️🔥 Grillstertember prompt: Snowed In

hear me out/explanation below!

the prompt was snowed in so, obviously whats better than cuddling up to your bonfire boyfriend/husband when the two of you are snowed in? and alright i got bored half-way bc a heavy blanket is kinda samie and briefly i thought about making it a patchwork quilt but that felt like too much work and y'know, a fluffy blanket kinda looks and feels a lot like a cloud. "ok," i hear you say, "but clouds still seem kinda random?"

well, i reply, if i was presenting this to an art teacher i'd say "they symbolically represent how comfortable Gaster and Grillby are with each other"

"what about the glowing halo behind grillby?" my imaginary art teacher asks.

well, i say again, that's because Grillby is the light of Gaster's life. UwU and then my imaginary teacher nods in approval and i get an A. The End. "Wait," you say. "Orbit, are you tipsy?" Well yes, yes i am. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

GRILLSTERTEMBER IS HERE

Our tradition began a few months after we were isolated in the underground. We'd been together practically since the war ended. A year later, we felt ready to face the time we had left, waiting for freedom.

We were married, so we decided that on each anniversary, we would fly a paper lantern in our favorite spot in Waterfall, promising to reach the moment together when we could do it in the starry sky above.

I might be embarrassed a lot, because I didn't draw a reference for Acid myself for years now, but whatever, it doesn't matter right now. What matter now, is what it's pride now, so...

It happens in my own Undertale AU called Acidtale, and followes Wingdings Gaster and Eustace Grillby throughout their lives, as they get to know each other, become friends and something more, maybe? Who knows 😏

Oh, and also I use themes of 2025th grillstertember for each chapter. There only two chapters right now, more coming as soon as I figure what and how I really want to write about in third. It is a little bit tricky, but maybe this chapter just will be long, I don't know yet.

✨ Constellations/Tender 💫 🌟

I don’t have a prompt list for Grillstertemper this year so I made up my own! Constellations is the only prompt I'm reusing. The next three I hope to get to are: Thunder/Rain, Fight/Bridge and lastly “You are sick, just accept it!" And now for a couple headcanons! Outertale Grillby: - OT!Grillby is more expressive, optimistic and personable than his UT counterpart. - Some might even call him FLAMEBOYANT! - He loves to show-off his drink mixing skills, and takes great pride in elevating bartender to an art form! - He probably uses food as an expression of love and care. if he is at all worried about someone, he will offer them food. - Stress cooks. - Maintains an absolutely spotless kitchen. but in contrast, his bedroom is a mess! Outertale Gaster: - After his accident, Gaster becomes a less than corporeal entity more ghost-like than skeleton. Where his coat ends, he seems to fade out of existence. however, he is able to materialize in a fully-solid body for a limited amount of time. - His coat fades into a field of stars. its almost as though Gaster has become one with the galaxy itself, existing in a strange in-between between life and death. - If you are not looking/directly interacting with Gaster, you will completely forget his existence. but if you interact with him a second time, you will suddenly remember your past conversations with him, only to forget your current one the moment you turn around and he is no longer in your line of sight. - there may or may not be a solution to this problem Outertale @.mimipippin

The craziest thing about Gaster is that he loses his attention so easily but you never notice it because he has this extraordinary ability to make you feel so special Those little things that others take for granted.

And I find it so precious maybe another day we will observe the fireworks show today I know how important fireflies are for the ecosystem.
