I still believe with all my heart that Dipper and Mabel are both the keys to defeating Bill. Ford puts emphasis on Dipper and Bill puts emphasis on Mabel but, in the end, it’s both of them that are needed. Not just one, but two parts of a whole.

Wendy alluded to this and I think she’s absolutely right; they’re only as strong as they are together. Without one piece, the other one doesn’t function.

Like honestly, I just keep thinking about a situation where the Dipper and Mabel come out of the bubble to find Gideon's been given a fate worse than death. Bill taunting them with Gideon's remains. Mabel never getting to thank him. In the aftermath, Dipper telling Bud Gleeful what happened to his son. I just, really want Gideon to get screwed up (in a good way). I want him to redeem himself-no matter what.

I can’t see that happening tbh I think Gideon will just get turned to stone (that’s the worse that’s been happening and I don’t think Bill can do extreme stuff). 

But I do see Mabel and Gideon talking. Not getting in a relationship but talking. His story isn’t over yet, Mabel doesn’t know what’s happening and Gideon needs to show that he has truly changed.

I read your post and I agree. I was thinking while watching what if being at the epicenter of the rift changed Mabel or what if her imagination allowed her to do the same sort of things Bill is doing. In which case she would be the ultimate threat to him.

Is it wrong that I want Gideon to become a sort of tragic hero in weirdmageddon part 2, like where he could possibly die or get way screwed up by Bill?

If you’re wrong I’ve been wrong for half a year because a Gideon redemption arch is all I ever wanted.

U once mentioned Mabel going into a dream state, an infinite summer she wouldn't want to leave. What if that's what's happening? But as she attempts to escape this dream it becomes a nightmare? Bill thinks her worst fears would be better to hold her down instead of a dream. The bubble can't contain all the fears she holds deep inside and is breaking. And the only reason she wanted to leave the dream in the first place was because she heard Dipper over the walks-talky. (Idk just a theory)

Mabel being aware and not being aware. Her dream is her developing nightmare haunting her every step and she has to escape she has to get out but she can’t and from the shadows comes a distorted voice.

Mabel, it keeps saying and it sounds like Dipper but he’s right in front of her?

But he’s right there and it doesn’t make any sense so she makes a test. Does he want to play girly games? Does he want to have makeovers? Well of course he does, Mabel! Don’t be silly.

And she knows he’s a fake so she tries to run but there’s Dipper. Don’t you want to play, Mabel? Don’t you want to play a game with me?

Don’t you want summer to last forever?

Mabel says no. No, she doesn’t want summer to last forever she wants her brother, she wants her family she doesn’t want this.

I just wanted to say that they bubble is way bigger than it was before, using Dipper, Wendy, and Soos as a comparison. Like a bajillion times bigger, so this further proves your theory.

Hey concerning your Super Important questions about who the weirdness waves affect. Soos and Stan are both on Cipher's wheel. Do you think that could have anything to do with it? I usually see the wheel less supernaturally and more just as a sign of significance, but... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Could also be that the point of chaos is that it's random. Dunno, but thought I'd share!

Right now I don’t know, maybe they don’t represent people themselves maybe it’s just who they are? Robbie as a healing broken heart stitched back together, Wendy as the ice bag who soothes the burn and the pain, Soos as the one who knows the answers in some weird way, Stan as family love, Ford as secret knowledge, Pacifica as the llama who stands tall and nonconforming, Dipper as the tree who can’t survive without fire, Mabel as the shooting star children wish upon to give them hope.
