Dizzee Rascal put out one of the most influential grime rap albums of all time which totally revolutionized both the UK rap scene and the UK electronic Scene. He did it when when he was fucking 18. If you haven’t heard his music or Boy in Da Corner do yourself a favor. At least listen to this amazing opening track!

Wiley is the GodFather of Grime Rap in the Uk. (Grime is a style of music that emerged from Bow, East London, England in the early 2000s, primarily as a development of UK garage, drum & bass, hip hop and dancehall.[2] Pioneers of the style include Dizzee Rascal, Wiley, Roll Deep, Skepta and many others) I first heard this dude while working at PacSun this past summer, the song Link Up came on off of his Evolve or Be Extinct 2012 album and I was turned up at work. The song incorporates a thriving bass line, and is a little unorthodox, the sounds are experimental the way Missy Eliot and Timbaland used to be. I was able to get the Evolve or Be Extinct album and was BLOWN AWAYYYYYY. I haven't listened to a recent Rapper, Hip- Hop since Drake Take Care, The Roots How I Got Over. This whole album literally has a progressive, social awareness feel to it. The beats are futuristic incorporating house music, video game sounds, Caribbean groove, hip - hop, and "Eskibeat" mixture of dance and electro beats.
