Day 3 of Vanpora Week: Free Space==> The Threads of Fate
Okay, I saw this as a worldbuild opportunity, and dangit, I’m gonna share my headcanon this week one way or another!
So that huge, tacky ring Eridan wears that has his sign on it? It’s like an enchanted ring worn for protection, mostly used for courtship purposes. And when trolls choose to exchange rings (which, in this case, one was custom made for Karkat to give), the couple is granted protection and good fortune by their guardians from The Furthest Ring. It’s a sweet little tradition, if not a little ominous knowing someone’s pulling the strings behind the scenes... 👀
I’m gonna keep the post simple, though. But I’m always down to elaborate 🦦
