Not best friends not lovers but a secret third thing (connected by mycelial network)
LMAO Yahtzee called Mortibin both "boring" and "basically canon" and I feel both affirmed and insulted at the same time
Adventure is Nigh! polycule would be on some great refusing-to-label-our-love kind of shit I feel. Dabarella's been consistently characterized as existing in an essentially platonic space of friendship and yet it also carries an unavoidable subtext of romanticism, Grinderbin's been alive for like... a couple of months so they can't have gotten into an amatnormative groove that much if at all, I think Sigmar's only "romantic" relationship was the "engagement" to Eggelier, and Mortimer's... Mortimer... it just makes sense as the dynamic.
I SWEAR ON MY MOTHERS GRAVE, I DIDN'T MEAN TO UPLOAD THIS MERE DAYS BEFORE THE AIN SEASON FINALE!
But yeah, AiN has been one of my favourite discoveries of the Second Wind era. As I said in the description, I was in the same boat of "watched The Escapist for Yahtzee and bugger all else"
Jokes on me, cause I missed out on some good DND shenanigans for years. That and "Grinderbin, you huge twat". My sense of humour is broken
I really hope Grinderbin will have a long life like Celia because their character arc of 'I'm going to die before all of my friends' to 'all of my friends are going to die before me' would be craaaazy
A quick little Grinderbin.
