Grippity: Android Tablet with a Translucent Screen
In many science fiction movies we often see devices with transparent displays, but in reality we rarely see those devices anywhere else. Kickstarter appeared recently as a crowdfunding project called Grippity. The device is a tablet running Android, which offers touch control on both sides of the body.
The developer is seeking $199,000 to implement their ideas. To date, the project has managed to collect about 22.5 thousand dollars. Before the end of fundraising has another 28 days.
As for the device, it will be the next filling. Grippity features a 7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 800 x 400 pixels. Pictures transparency is 75%. Powered tablet running processor Cortex A8 ARM, RAM is 512 MB, and has 4 gigabytes of data storage. The Grippity tablet also has a slot for memory cards. The specified operating system is Android 4.2.2. If developers would still be able to collect the necessary funds for further development, then by the time of the tablet manufacture it will receive Android 4.4 KitKat.
