grntgust said: are you thinking of moving there? :D i really enjoyed my short visit there it seemed really nice *u*
I really don't know... I mean ideally I'd live down south for work and my family, but the fact I can get such a nice place for the same price further north is tempting, I can't lie.
But yeah it's great there, I love it :)
just gonna do the thing and say aLL OF THEM ooop
L U C C A
ok ok here we go smh
could you share some of your favourite documentaries you've seen? :)
ohhh, absolutely!
smash his camera. it's about ron galella, who was kind of the "father" of paparazzi... it's just super interesting and makes you think about privacy and boundaries and celebrity and such.
spellbound has been one of my favorites for a long time. it follows a bunch of super smart, freakishly disciplined kids as they prepare for the 1999 scripps national spelling bee.
i recently watched "the man who lost his body", which is about a guy who has dealt with a loss of proprioception, meaning that he has no innate concept of where his body is and can't feel his body move, so he trained himself to walk, gesture, etc. solely through power of will and by looking at himself.
JESUS CAMP. i've watched that documentary countless times.
all of the PBS american experience: presidents documentaries are great, but i particularly love the one about bill clinton. it's 4 hours long and i don't usually have the attention span to sit through something for that long, but with this one, i did it with ease. and then i watched it again. it's just very engaging.
bully, blackfish, and national geographic's inside north korea are also interesting and all on netflix
kennedys' home movies is a longstanding favorite of mine as well
the world before her and the short game are currently on my netflix list but i haven't gotten to them yet
i'm sure as soon as i publish this, i'll remember one that needs to be mentioned, but i'll leave it at these for now lol

thank uuuu *cuddles* i mean i may have been able to do better, but when i adjusted the body text to the mandatory size and the spacing i actually got nearly 6 pages which was the maximum sooo
although the last question was diverting from the subject but i couldn't be bothered ugh
