Finalising Grocari screens
Meet Grocari, the character has finally been brought to life! From screen’s 2 and 3 you can see how Grocari welcomes users and updates them on any items they have added.
When I was creating the shopping lists I had the idea to include multiple lists which I picked up on during my search. I introduced a weekly and monthly list which will be generated based on when the user buys the items the device will pick this up. I provided 2 screens to show how the shopping list would look.
The 6th screen is where you can find the scanning screen this is something that daily apps that I use feature like Instagram, Snapchat and Myfitness pal. Users will need to allow access to their phone's camera to use this feature. This is how the data will be entered into the device. I included a search button in case the camera does not pick up the image.
On the 7th screen users can find personalised data based on the purchases this will be created by the device and it will also suggest notifications on certain products that the users may buy a lot.
Next, you will see the help screen simple, clear and straightforward to help users in need. Again I included a search button for users who don’t want to go looking.
Lastly, I have demonstrated how the notifications would pop up on your screen if the user wanted them. For this example, the user buys a lot of milk according to the data analyst so they are recommended to turn on notifications for it. If done so, notifications will be sent when the device picks up that the user is out of or low in milk. The notification allows the user to select ok or set a reminder as to when they would like another notification.
Overall I am pretty pleased with the outcome of the UI for this product. I think the screens look fresh and clean with the use of colour and readable type. I have attempted to keep the app straightforward for the purpose of the audience by keeping it simple and only included key features that I believe they would use.
