Of course! This is one of my favorite things to get asked because there are SO many cool people sharing the Furuba love! (I do have another list of some legendary faves here, which are DEFINITELY worth checking out. But let’s expand that list a bit, shall we?)

@sohma-stan One of the best blogs out there. I could (and do) scroll for ages. (I should have listed this one in my last post, and I live in eternal regret that I forgot them, but THEY’RE FIRST NOW.)

@tohru-honda SUCH good vibes and gifsets. Make your dashboard looking choice.

@kyokyokat They have such good content. I almost reblog what they have just because I see their name.

@camathefurubafan If you like my blog even a little, hit up Cama because WOW it is done so much better over there.

@goth-gf-hanajima This blog is incredible. Dope content, incredible vibes, and the BEST respect for the savior of earth, Hanajima. 

@itsnotthesamething Not a Furuba-exclusive blog, but wow it’s got some good FB content!

@xhondasoma I looked up this blog to get the spelling right and scrolled for like a solid minute before I caught myself.

@sohmaakito Some really awesome content! I’ve seen them go into a little bit of everything, including cultural context, which I think is super important to know with something like furuba! LOVE this blog. :)

hmmmm i mean there wasn’t anything in particular i didn’t like about it - it was more just that they were given an impossible task, ykwim? 

they had planned 3 more seasons and suddenly they had to write one more episode and that meant making some tough decisions about what that episode should include 

there was a LOT of plot to wrap up. there were a lot of character and emotional arcs to wrap up. and it was just literally impossible to do all of that plot work without sacrificing some of what makes sense8 sense8.

they had to make choices about whether to follow the current storyline to its natural conclusion or to write a finale that felt FINAL in order to please fans and tie up all the loose ends. i think they obviously chose the latter - which is why we literally had the entire extended gang back together - and that’s not a bad thing. if they’d gone the other direction i’d inevitably be going “BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO DIEGO” etc etc 

this episode was just (inevitably) rushed. it was earnest, it was genuine. and in a lot of ways it was exceptional that they were able to do so much in so little time. much of the episode felt like a love letter to fans - the nomanita wedding, the inclusion of pretty much every single extended character so that we could say goodbye, the callbacks to iconic moments from previous episodes, the happy ending for every character. that’s something to be incredibly grateful for. 

but the episode itself does not make for top tier sense8 viewing? i guess? it had too much to do. one of the defining features of sense8 imo is that it takes its time. the plot moves at a glacier’s pace while the characters spend extended time exploring this connection they share and being contemplative about life.

that was literally impossible this episode. they couldn’t take their time. and that’s not the fault of the creators or the writers - they genuinely did the best and kindest finale they could under the circumstances. 

it’s just not a GREAT™ sense8 episode to me. (it’s no christmas special fam!!!! ajskdfjksldf i will never be over the christmas special) 

and that’s okay. it’s way better than nothing. under the circumstances they had, they did a wonderful job. the circumstances just suck.

In mother! you had JLaw's character's name as Grace and I wondered if you made it up because of the allegorical nature of the film or if there was an article that you read that confirms her name (and if so I'd love a link to it.) hi! it’s not the character’s official name but on set jennifer lawrence and the rest of the cast/crew would refer to her as Grace. jennifer calls her Grace in this interview and i think there’s a couple interviews on youtube that confirm it too if you’re interested enough to look for them
