Here's whats up with Doctor Strange not being white: There's no canon evidence he isn't of Western European descent, but here's what is marvel canon: 1) he was a rich genius doctor, 2) he lost his powers and was trained by a POC to take up a mantle, 3) marvel does not need any more genius white science boys, 4) nothing needs more white ppl taking up roles previously belonging to POC, be it in-story, or whitewashed adaptations of stories, thank you the end.

Oh man I've never read any of the Discworld Watch series, just listened to the audiobooks, and always thought the Piecemaker was the Peacemaker and I feel like my entire universe has gone slightly lopsided, or was lopsided before and has now righted itself

I actually thought it was the Peacemaker at first too. It's just tough to imagine a troll carrying what is literally a siege weapon and swinging it around like it's projectiles don't combust the second they are fired.
