Daffodils And Flies

With the sure signs of Spring around such as flower shoots and the return of annoying insects, I spent yesterday drinking beer and reading books in a rocking chair. Kids away, momma plays. Took a break from selling which is totally justified because I am 15 items out and we are not even at Valentine’s Day.

Today, I have prepared another 8 items for eBay valet. No money returns yet. The valet service has sent messages to its users that they are 2-4 weeks behind due to overwhelming demand. I totally get it too. Time is the most precious commodity. Having someone take your stuff, take photos, write descriptions, think if price points, put it up for sale, collect the money, ship the product, and deposit the money into my account is priceless. I don’t care if they do give me only 60- 80 percent of the sale amount. All I had to do was slap a postage paid label on it and drop it off at the post office and listen to the sounds of cha-ching.

Hubby and I had a great weekend and gratefully he is not on the frugal plan so we ate out, drank out, saw shows, danced and overall had a ball. But it is Sunday night and I am transitioning back to “work” mode and getting my next batch of goodies ready for drop off in the morning. 

Feb 12- Haven’t seen any sales yet, but the sheer purging feels rich and the decedent weekend was a nice reprieve from Frugal February.
