what could have been..
This blog for me as of today (30-12-2015) is a self absorbed experiment. There are 2 parts to it - 1. Does owning a blog with more people, push & motivate an individual to pursue a practice of writing? What does being part of a 'Team Blog' do to me? Do I write differently when its part of a group - how is this group dynamic affecting me? 2. The second is with the idea of writing itself. And what it does to me as an individual. a. how long does it take to get bored of one idea/theme. b. where all do these connections happen. Right now it feels like everywhere. c. does writing about one thing for a long time do something to me?
The topic that I am choosing to write about is Timing and Context. After thinking through alllll the number of things I could have possibly chosen to think & write about, I have chosen this as I see it as a recurrent aspect of life, in the way that I perceive it.
As a starting point, here are the number of places it has shown up - Dialogue: when you talk to people - ranging from what's appropriate to talk about to when people laugh. So here context is linked to culture or the social etiquette of a group. Curriculum/Designing Learning Moments - It's not about doing/teaching something - its about when & how you introduce something. Making meaning - its not about having access to the information, its about all the previous experiences you may have had before that & how it all starts to make more sense now.
Will I be able to understand this post two years from now?
